We only did an overnight there but it was worth the trip really stunning views. Rooms were really comfortable and everything we needed was provided. It was my first time to New Zealand so happy to see the sounds. Great place really beautiful

My daughter and I stayed here after walking the 7 hour first limb of the Queen Charlotte Track starting at Ships Cove. We went straight to our private bungalow. There is a small patio facing the cove. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. The restaurant is up a hill giving wonderful views of the cove. The food and...

The whole setting at Punga Cove is gorgeous. We arrived after our second day's walk on the Queen Charlotte Track and it was a beautiful day. The managers were really lovely people and were doing their best but everything is starting to look a bit tired. We had to go up to reception then down to the bar again to...

Our room, bed and the facilities were satisfactory. Staff on reception not overly helpful, no free wifi and a shame that the bar closes early in the "off season". Spa was free which was cool - but all other food was extremely expensive. Was an ok stay - but the most expensive of our trip.

We stayed here for a night after a tiring walk in the rain. Yes, it looks stunning and so beautiful! Unfortunately we were disappointed with a few things. In off season reception is limited in different areas. When paying $260 we expect fab service but were disappointed. Unfriendly welcome did not impress me from the start. The kiwi chalets are...

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the Queen Charlotte Track. We had two ensuite rooms in the lodge which were excellent and we had the rest of the lodge to ourselves for the night. The breakfast was fabulous and set us up for our days walk. The hosts were lovely and made us feel welcome.

This is a spectacular location. We walked from Ship Cove and after arriving at 5pm we had a lovely time relaxing on the beach. We proceeded to check-in and due to the size of our group there was some confusion over bags, a BBQ booking (which I had rung to cancel) and the deposit. The issues were sorted out but...

We stayed here for one night while walking the QC track with our one year old. Last time I came past we camped at the DOC site in Camp Bay. It was an easy walk day and we enjoyed arriving early. We had to hike 1/3 of the way up to reception.
