Stayed for three nights in this very old thatched, family run working dairy farm. Great base for fossil hunting along the Jurassic coast. Was looked after by the very friendly Sandie who provides a lovely breakfast using fresh eggs from the farm and plenty of local knowledge. Evening meals taken in 'The Ship Inn' Axmouth. (Highly recommend- excellent food reasonably...

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The farm is nestled in the countryside yet provides easy driving access to both Axminster and Lyme Regis. The purpose of our visit was to attend a River Cottage event (all of 10 mins away). We had a lovely warm greeting and were made to feel very welcome. We stayed...

If you want to fully experience what it is like to live on a farm in Devon then this is the place for you. I am thankful for the fair wind that brought me to the door, and to the hospitality of these generous hosts. Sandy is a lovely hardworking farmer and her bed and breakfast is a reflection of...

This beautiful farm setting in the rolling hills of Dorset is full of all the charm needed for a great weekend break or like we have, stay longer. A great location for a short car drive to Lyme Regis, Seaton or Axminster and a great accommodation stop for river cottage events. With an all new bathroom ensuite added to the...

We was really made to feel part of the family and my daughter loved the cows, ponies, chickens and other animals especially the dogs. the views...

This pet friendly bed and breakfast is located in an remote, oak beamed farmhouse with many traditional and ancient features. The views were wonderful and the double bed in the family room very comfortable. Breakfast was generous and Sandie was very helpful. The only down side no en suite in the family room. The shared bathroom does not have a...

We stayed here whilst walking the East Devon Way. This is a completely isolated and tranquil location staying on a working farm. Sandie was a very pleasant host who has lived in the area all her life. There is a large lounge with a TV. This is also where they serve breakfast and we were even given the option of...

We stayed at Higher Bruckland Farm with our son for three nights, and were very impressed with the facilities and how accommodating Sandie was. Jared was welcomed to help feed the chickens every morning after breakfast, and also invited to help milk the cows, although we managed to miss this every day! The gardens of the farmhouse are peaceful and...

Wonderful B&B in the heart of Devon country. Acres of farmland all around, quiet location but very near to Lyme Regis, Axmouth and other attractions. Room was large with plenty of room for three kids and two adults, complete with en-suite. Very friendly and helpful staff. A little bit costly, but overall good value.
