Having heard so much about this place from a friend and after seeing such positive reviews here, I couldn't wait to visit Spillers Farm. Keith & Bridget gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. They were perfect hosts and as others have said, nothing was too much trouble for them - even posting my son's toy...

We chose this B&B on the basis of the excellent reviews on tripadvisor, so were disappointed to say the least - at first glance the room looked lovely, bright and airy, however after using the bathroom, both the shower and toilet, it was apparent there was a drainage problem as the smell from the waste pipes in the bathroom was...

I am sorry that this guest - unlike the vast majority of our guests - did not enjoy their stay at Spillers Farm. It was unfortunate that their visit co-incided with a blip in the workings of our septic tank. The reason I did not mention the smell on showing the guests to their room was because it took me,...

Bridget and Keith are a delightful couple who provide all the care and attention that makes a stay here an absolute pleasure. As well as the lovely, clean and comfortable accommodation, there are many thoughtful small services that show a considerate attention to detail. Very highly recommended.

Our family of four had two rooms for a night on our way down to Cornwall. Keith and Bridget are wonderful hosts, and we had a great night at Spillers Farm. Unfortunately the weather stopped us from exploring the farm, but the homemade cream tea made up for that!!! The little things like toiletries, bottles of water and the 'real'...

We stayed 3 nights and had a lovely time. The bedroom was very nice and comfortable and the bathroom was very clean too. The breakfasts were very tasty and the room where we ate was very light and airy. Keith and Bridget were great hosts and we had some nice chats with them about their life on their small holding....

I have just spent a wonderful week at Spillers farm. It is set in beautiful countryside and is such a relaxing place to stay. We could not have had a warmer welcome from Keith and Bridget, they were fantastic hosts! Even the animals were friendly, and the hand-reared sheep were always happy to have a cuddle! The breakfasts were also...

We stayed in the cottage and had the most relaxing family holiday ever. Keith and Bridget are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble, they are genuinely interested in their guests and go that extra mile - we wanted to cook the mackerel we caught (on their bbq) and they provided a basketful of vegetables, strawberries and clotted cream to...

My wife and I stayed here after a very pleasant evening at River Cottage to celebrate our anniversary. We have a smallholding of our own and value good food, locally sources, so we were greatly impressed with the quality and comfort of our room but more so the breakfast. Cooked in the Aga (not fried), this was made up of...

We had stayed here previously for 3 nights B&B but this time we booked the self catering cottage for the week. Keith and Bridget are perfect hosts and we were welcomed back. The cottage was very spacious and comfortable. Our breakfasts were the delicious sausages and bacon from the farm and we were able to dig or pick fresh vegetables...

Where do I start – from the point of booking Spillers Farm the whole experience was easy, relaxing and delightful! I researched over 20 b&bs in the area and Spillers Farm came top of the list and I am pleased that it did as we could not fault a thing. The welcome from Merryck, Bridgit and Keith was as though...
