After a severe tire and rim damage we arrived eventually, with the kind help of local men, at Kapika Lodge in Epupa Falls. The Lodge experience was wonderful, relaxed and we enjoyed the serene view over the Kunene River. All the staff were very friendly, the cook provided gourmet breakfasts and dinners. A visit to the Ovahimba village and to...

We are so very glad that everything worked out in the end. It is not easy being a tourist and to be stranded in the northern most part of Namibia, which is why I felt I just had to assist you in getting back onto your planned vacation. I hope and trust, that the rest of your holiday went smoothly....

Sometimes you visit a place that has something special about it. The Kapika Waterfall Lodge is one of those places. It's not fancy or upscale. In fact, the cabins are simple, there's no air-conditioning or fans, making our time there pretty toasty, and the wifi is spotty (no surprise since you're in the middle of nowhere) But there's something extremely intimate,...

We stayed two nights in the lodge and had a relaxing day at the Epupa waterfall. You're just 15 minutes walk from the waterfall and we did some rafting on the river (= looking at crocodiles and peeling yourself because the river is not wild at all, in september). The pool is small but nice. The food is very good....

It was really great having you as our guests...! Bearing in mind that we are at the northern most part of the country, and in the bush, our WiFi strength is not what city people are used to. We try to provide WiFi, but the availability is determined by many elements, such as weather conditions (wind and rain could disturb...

As you said my Italian friend, the behavior of the Austrian lady, the lodge manager, was absolutely dishonest, some guests had quietly WI and password and to us Italians is denied, inventing lies. When we asked her how it was possible, she answered: I HAVE NO IDEA !. In those days there was the earthquake in Italy in Amatrice and...

After the long drive to Epupa Falls, we were welcomed with a complimentary drink and friendliest managers which was a lovely touch! They arranged us to have a sundowner 4x4 drive which gave truly beautiful views of Epupa Falls and bent over backwards to get us a rafting trip the next morning before we left. The room, food, bar and...

It was such a pleasure to have you two visiting us, thanks for the laughs..! We are here, to ensure our guests are happy and comfortable, and are really glad we could make you feel at home. Perhaps your next visit could be a few nights, as opposed to just one night... Take care

We spent two nights here in Aug with an Italian group. What a beautiful place, situated ontop of the hill overlooking the Kunene River and Epupa waterfall. Whilst all the other lodges are situated right on the rivers edge, we had a breathtaking view with a lovely breeze on top of the hill. Food was good, even though the Italians...

A very comfortable lodge that is worth being a little further away from the Epupa Falls as the view has to be seen to be believed. Take a dip in the pool that feels rimless as it looks into Angola -wow! Rooms are very big and very comfortable, with a shared fire pit/boma area that made for a warm place...

After a long drive on a bad gravel road it seems like paradise to reach Epupa Falls. From Kapika Waterfall Lodge we had a fantastic view on the river Kunene and the falls. We went with a group of friends traveling Namibia. Some chose to camp in the camp sites below next to the river, we opted for a little more luxury.
