In spite of the conformation of our reservation the taverna was closed. They did not answer our phonecalls. A very friendly local helped us out and phoned the owners of the taverna too. They answerd that call and told her they were on holiday and...More
We spent three nights staying in the larger of the two rooms available which had it's own kitchen. The only issue we had was that the food they served was so good that we never used ours. João, the owner made us endless breakfasts and...More

I am not aware of any, but we didn't reall research this as we planned to drive ourselves. We arrived into Lisbon and spent a week there before taking a cab to the airport to collect our hire car. We used Google maps on our iPhone to navigate and it was brilliant. We bought a vodaphone SIM very cheaply in Portugal. You might need to find out about hiring a driver perhaps if you don't want to drive yourself.
