Spent a weekend in the Elephant Yurt with a group of friends, two of whom had never camped before. The Yurt was beautifully decorated and comfortable and with the aid of the log burner, lovely and cosy. The kitchen area was well equipped(although the BBQ grill a little rickety!) and it was a pleasure to sit out in the Yurt's...

Thank you for your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. We would love to do more recycling but have been limited by the local recycling firm as to what they are willing to recycle. We will however push them further and hopefully we can come up with a solution. Thanks again.

We went to Forest Yurts after 3 days in Legoland. Location-wise it's excellent - a quiet wooded area surrounding a lake used for private fishing. The yurts are lovely - we stayed in the Maharajas yurt which was comfortable with one double bed & 2 single beds. The outside kitchen was reasonably well equipped although we had to request a...

We chose the Love Yurt. On the positive side, they have thought of everything you might need and give you lots in the way of torches, firewood, coal, tea bags, even a small pot of fresh coffee. We also ordered the breakfast package from the Owl Farm Shop, which meant some really nice sausages and bacon were waiting in the...

Thank you for your feedback. I can assure you that our yurts are constantly aired and designed to allow air to flow through them otherwise they will not last a month in our damper climate of Northern Europe. We deep clean the yurts themselves at every opportunity on the days they are vacant between bookings, and we are continually evaluating...

What an amazing weekend! I travelled with a group of girlfriends and we had the best time. When driving to the yurt for the first time we were all in amazement on how beautiful it looked, driving through the orchards, the wood and round the lake we all had the biggest smile on our face. Once we got to the...

My fiancé and I stayed spent a weekend in the Maharaja's Yurt last weekend. The location is beautiful and secluded, you have lots of privacy. There is a lovely lake to fish on, countryside to walk around and pick your fruit just down the road. There is also a pub just down the road. The main attraction though are the...

Our Yurt was situated next to a lovely, large, quiet lake in a wooded area. We arrived to all round "wows!" and general excitement as we laid eyes on Maharaja Yurt which looked splendid in its tranquil setting. It was only a short drive to the fabulous beaches in the area and the entertainment on offer at Bournemouth. The other...

Thank you for your review of our glamping site at Sopley. I have contacted our servicing team and they have tackled the mould spot, thank you again for pointing that out to us. The gas shower does cut out as a standard safety feature after approximately 20 minutes continuous running. We should have pointed this out in our guide and...

Looked forwards since new year for this trip to introduce other family members to glamping having undertaken a couple of glamping yurt trips to other locations in the UK. We hired double dragon yurts for 3 nights in August 2015, booked for a family of 5 and a family of 4. Location by the lake good and near to New...

Thank you for your review, we value all feedback and even value negative feedback more than positive, as it helps us to improve our service. I am very sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. I am very concerned on the condition you found the fridge and the tableware. I have contacted our service team in order to...

We've just finished our stay here. I can truly say not one of us wants to leave. We hired both the dragon yurts. The yurts are decorated beautifully inside, the kitchen area and fire pit make for a perfect glamping experience and the shower was lovely!! Having everything other than food provided for you makes the whole experience a lot...

I am not into cheek by jowl camping and so generally avoid camping holidays. But this was a whole other world and we absolutely adored our weekend stay here. We stayed in the Love Yurt (me, my husband and 2 small children). The setting was phenomenal and completely private alongside a lake with plenty of exciting exploring to be done....

Camping as it should be with not too many luxuries to take away from the experience. We've just returned from a 2 night stay in the Love Yurt - haven't slept so well for a very long time. Sooooo cosy. Setting is ideal - shops and farm shops nearby. Shower & loo brilliant addition the the whole experience. Kitchen, dining...

Sopley Lake Yurt Camp has been the leading UK glamping destination since opening in 2011. The location is perfect (Pub within walking distance), lakeside views abundant with wild fowl and fish, close to the New Forest National Park (cycling, horse-riding, pubs) and the beaches near Bournemouth and Christchurch.
