This is a superb place to break your journey or stay for a few days. Very welcoming hostess who introduces all guests to each other and encourages a communal breakfast - she will also book your evening meal and, if you opt for a take away, set the table in the guest dining room for you. Huge, comfortable and spotless...

From the warm, welcoming reception from Mme Morvan to the fond farewell, the Moulin de Blochet was a triumph. Set in the heart of the countryside but within 20 minutes of the centre of Rennes this was an idyllic stay. Rooms beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, outlook over a fishing-pond and fields, nothing could have been better. Excellent breakfast and a...

My wife Janice and I spent a wonderful four days at Le Moulin de Blochet. It was a bucolic paradise! There were picturesque trails and backroads to walk just outside the door. The nearby fields with their gently lowing inhabitants, together with the tranquil millpond and gardens, ensured a peaceful and relaxing stay. The room was great; decorated and furnished...

Le Moulin de Blochet is a gorgeous B & B in the beautiful countryside outside Rennes. The hosts, Nadine and Jean Paul gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our spacious room, 'Eugenie', beautifully decorated in the French style you imagine. The bed was the most comfortable of any on our trip and the view from the window.......

The mill is excellent in every sense, attention to detail and wonderfully friendly, I was travelling alone and felt totally welcomed. The room 'Eugénie' was a haven of beauty and calm. The view overlooking the fields and 'étang, a gentle symphony of colours and ethereal magic. Thank you again, I will see you again no doubt!

Excellent B&B! Beautiful and peaceful location. The rooms have a luxurious feel and are stuffed with antiquities. The hosts are very friendly and are happy to provide (detailed) information about nearby places/ cities in Bretagne. 5 stars

Our plans got cancelled and we found ourselves on the road, near Rennes, with no place to stay. Le Moulin de Blochet was the first place listed on google. I called to see if there was room for 4 for the night and the owner accommodated us at once. Within 15 minutes, we were there and she was showing us...

We stayed at Le Moulin for one night only and found the place enchanting for its tranquillity, its setting and the lovely hospitality of its owner. Nadine is incredibly helpful and helps you with everything, from the language to guidance to the place and the nearby beautiful city of Rennes, capital of Brittany. It is indeed a perfect spot for...
