Seoul, South Korea

At only 90 minutes drive from Seoul, Vivaldi is probably the best option for a day trip to the slopes. The slopes are a couple of kilometres long (if you take the gondola to the top) and a decent variety of difficulties. Some of them were a bit icy though and didn't seem to have been re-laid for a while....

A great place to visit as it is not far from the city. Free shuttle buses available. If you are not planning to ski, a day trip is good enough. Nothing much to do besides skiing or playing with snow. Shuttle buses Depart from Seoul early morning and back by 8pm.

We visited Vivaldi Park on a recommendation by a Korean friend - since it was not listed in the Lonely Planet that we were using. We liked that the resort provided a free shuttle bus for tourists (i.e. Foreigners). You need to book the bus in advance, and it's free and they don't check if you already have a booking...

The shuttle bus service to the Resort was free. We reached the Resort around 11am. As we were early, we left our luggage at the customer service centre. There is a Main Ski centre across the apartment where we had some burgers before we proceeded for snow sliding. Upon checking in, we found the room having a good view facing...

It was great to have free shuttle from downtown Seoul to the resort, a trip that took 2 hours. But there were few English instructions and signs and we took quite long to find the ticketing and to rent equipments. Had to queue up for rental 3 times because there were no English instructions that we had to first measure...

Our family and my son especially have a fun time learning ski from the instructor over there. There is also a shopping complex with a medium size supermarket at the basement. Overall recommended hotel stay.

We spent a night in their ski view 2-bedroom Oak suite. The resort is very localize resort as we saw many local families there. Everything is in local language, only a handful of staff speak very little English, I guess we were the only foreigners who stress them out enquiring for stuff. The entire place is neat and clean. The...

This was a recent visit, the resort is fantastic for families and large groups. If you enjoy golf the course is illuminated until midnight. The rooms are ultra modern and spotless. Very comfortable, more like suites than traditional hotel rooms.

This was our fist time skiing in South Korea and we will be back again. Vivaldi really is a breathtaking place to spend a week the family. The accommodation is very well staffed and they did their most to make us feel welcome. Took our daughter out skiing for the first time and we all had a blast. I have...

We visited in autumn, yes its the much preferred time to visit Korea. A good location for winter skiing but for now since its grassy, it is very tempting to just run up those mountains. But Since we are on tour, we spend our time outside the place at daytime and we didnt enjoy much the visit. But of course...
