We had an amazing time. Very cozy and clean and modern! And the owners are fantastic. Coffee, tea and cookies available every morning it was too cute! I will be staying here every time I go to big bear.

Great little grouping of cabins on the lake, a short 5 minute drive to the main drag and all of the restaurants and bars downtown. The cabins themselves are pretty basic, in a good way. There's a communal outdoor fireplace that the keeper has going at night and there were coffee and snacks at breakfast in the main building, which...

The cabins at Noon Lodge are updated but still feel like they belong in rustic Big Bear. I love being just outside of the busy, loud downtown too. I sleep there like a baby without a care in the world

Noon Lodge was a perfect spot for us. We loved the studio-sized cabin and it was decorated beautifully. It was rustic without being over-the-top and was super cozy. Perfect for our needs. The owner even went out of his way to introduce himself on Saturday morning as we did self check-in on Friday night (after arriving late.) Noon Lodge was...

We had stayed at Noon lodge a few years ago before it underwent it's recent remodel. It was nice then but the remodel has done wonders for the units and grounds. The interiors are nicely appointed, each with gas fireplaces, flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi, etc., and the grounds look great with the flagstone walks, various fire pits, etc. The on-site...

We had an amazing time, make use of the bikes and camp fire at least once! We didn't cook but we should have! I would stay there for thanksgiving if they weren't booked. Fritz the care taker was very accommodating and easy to work with! Thank you for the hospitality.

We had a lovely time at Noon Lodge! Fritz was awesome and helpful and the directions were laid out very clearly. The welcome packet was so cute and helpful and everyone was very nice! It was a bummer we had to turn the fire off at 10 PM but we understand it's the law! Otherwise, no complaints!

It's an incredibly lovely place to stay. The rooms are cute and comfortable. It is a great place to book with friends or family for a reunion. It is a bit on the rustic side as you'd imagine. (Take out your own trash, bring your own food.) But that's the fun!

In a quiet neighborhood, this beautiful, vintage-feel Lodge was perfect for our Oktoberfest weekend in Big Bear. Super clean with a handsome design inside and outside. It was peaceful and relaxing. Professional and friendly service. The room and bathroom were perfect.

I have to admit that I chose Noon based on its aesthetics, but that's what matters to me. The overall experience was great; professional, clean, cozy...everything I wanted and needed for a quick one night getaway. If you are looking for the party scene, this isn't it; families and couples will I've it here. There's a pool, shuffleboard, picnic tables,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We found a historic mountain retreat built in the early 1950s. We breathed new life into the property, combining vintage charm with modern design. Noon Lodge at Mallard Bay strikes that perfect balance between smart clean design and rustic outdoor charm. This endearing getaway harkens back to a bygone era of exploring mountain trails, cannonballs into a lake, laughing around a campfire, and gazing at stars. Our boutique lakefront lodge is located on a quiet residential street just 1.3 miles from Big Bear Lake village center's restaurants, shops, and activities. ... more   less
