Nice homely pub just minutes from Newton Abbott room was comfortable with everything to hand Staff were all very helpful food good and they have a good selection great location and plenty of parking would not hesitate to book here again

My family and I stayed last August and were not at all impressed. The 'team' at that time were not particularly welcoming but I don't know if they've changed since then. Our main complaint was that the owners' cat was walking over the breakfast tables while people were seated and waiting for their food, which we reported. The cat was ejected but the tables were not re-laid, which made us wonder about the general standards of hygiene.
