My family and I booked one 8 person cabin and another 6 person cabin. We had 3 children in our party, one of whom was just 2 years old. Both cabins had open staircases going to the second floor, where children could easily fall. The 6 ppl cabin, where the children were supposed to sleep, had all of the second...

We have just come back from 2 nights at Huilo Huilo staying in a cabana and were very disappointed. The road alongside the resort was having major roadworks - so not a great start. On arrival, reception was unhelpful and unwelcoming. We approached the excursion desk the girl didn't know anything and said that we should ring the guide directly,...

This is a great experience. A lovely cabain in the middle of the forest. All the accomodation that you need, cleaning service in the morning and wood for the stove. All the trekkings are nearby and you have free access to all of them. The beer factory, the red deer trekking and a lot of differents views and trekkings arround...

From the moment you arrive you are in a different world. Magical place in the forest with walking tracks and cabins spotted around the park - a truly remarkable experience. We stayed 2 nights in a cabin and I could have stayed for months - sure they are simple but they are constructed entirely out of trees - anyone that...

I couldn´t agree more with Bonnie W when she wrote in her review "... The cabanas themselves are quite comfortable, but missing some basics (soap in the bathroom, the fully stocked kitchen is missing things like salt and pepper, dish soap, serviettes)...The entire reserve appears to be ran by teenagers from the town next door, while I'm sure they are...

The natural beauty and unique design of this resort has been utterly neglected by poor management. The cabanas themselves are quite comfortable, but missing some basics (soap in the bathroom, the fully stocked kitchen is missing things like salt and pepper, dish soap, serviettes). We were camping in summer, the space for the tend is big, you can have your car next to your camping site, each site has a plug. The restrooms and the showers are located in a separated a place, during the day is ok but in the night may be a little bit inconvenience. There are hiking paths inside Huilo...

It was a long drive to get to Huilo Huilo but well worth it! We could hear the sound of the river and falls outside our cabin window with a 5 minute walk to the path along the river from Cabin 17. Cabins are great - plenty of rooms, bathrooms, essentials, etc - much more reasonable than the hotels on...

Coming to Huilo Huilo is like a dream. It is so beautiful and I just love the whole area. The main hotel is fantastic, but so is also the price. We travel for 1 month and can not afford 350$ a night, but the cabañas was also great and really good value. We unfortunately only stayed one night, I wish...
