We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the camp as a stopover en route to Cape Town from Namibia. Victor and Linda are very helpful and welcoming hosts, and the food is excellent home-made, in fact my boyfriend says that the breakfast is the best he had during the whole trip. The tents are very clean and comfortable and we happily...

Victor and Linda are excellent hosts. The food was traditional and excellent - the best meal we had in SA. Amazing scenery, just perfect. Our tented rooms were great - we loved the lamps, the peace and the bush around us.

It's been 4 years since our previous visit and Agama was just as delightful as we remembered....with a few upgrades. There are now gas heaters in the tents for those chilly nights and the bar/dining room area has a glorious fireplace (and a beautiful cat) to keep away the chill. We love the tents, the rustic bathroom and the overall...

My wife and I stayed at Agama Tented Camp in October 2016. From the minute we arrived until we sadly left , it was a joyful experience. Victor and Linda are wonderful friendly hosts , and the food was outstanding (just too much of it). Sitting in front of the fire with Gomgat (the meerkat) was also a fun experience....

We visited Agama early in September which is spring time in SA and this area (Namaqualand) is very well known for its beautiful wild flowers. We occupied all 7 tents with other couples accompanying us on the trip. The tents has no electricity, but each tent has an on-suite bathroom with hot water and shower facilities. Even though the evenings...
