We stayed in the Sherwood Hotel , Jan 23 with 11 friends for my wife’s special birthday! Food /Rooms and facilities were 1st class , waiting staff and bar staff were 1st class and nothing was too much trouble even though we were quite a large group…. The entertainer David was really friendly and befriended our entire group and ended up on 1st name terms with us all … Overall , Great laugh and holiday in a lovely hotel with special friends… Thank you Kenny
We are just back from a fantastic 10 days at the Sherwood Exclusive. (2 adults, 2 children aged 11, 13). It’s a great hotel in the mid-point of a great location and caters really well for all ages and preferences. Hotel: Beautiful grounds, gardens, beach/jetty and several swimming pools. Everything is well kept. There’s always somebody somewhere discreetly cleaning and maintaining something (positive!). Great food. Lots of variety in the various restaurants. None of us had any tummy problems at all. If you don’t over indulge with a bit of everything (the novelty of all inclusive) then there’s plenty to choose from across the front, central, back of the resort restaurants. Swimming Pools: there’s lots of action happening intermittently in the morning at the main pool, and then a nice relaxing vibe in the afternoon. +16s pool is great. Kids pools and mini aqua play areas are well kept. There’s plenty of quiet spots at other pools, and their surrounding gardens (inc tree hammocks) given the resort is so big. Evenings: there’s a kids show at 8:30 that seemed to be popular. It wouldn’t normally be our thing but we all loved the 9:30pm shows given the productions we very professional. My daughter loved Face2Face and Panda Street Dancers (you’d pay to see this in a West End production!). Aqua park. This is great reason for booking this hotel. (We ruled out several other destinations for the fact they didn’t cater for children / teens). Everyone loved all 7 slides! Also, there’s always loungers available up to around 11:30-12 most days. (However, there could be more umbrellas). Beach: there’s great modern covering over all the loungers. We never had a problem getting a lounger no matter the time in the day. There’s a drinks bar, showers, restaurant, ice cream/waffles bar, Water Sports Activity Centre, wooden jetty, all on hand. The cabanas are a lovely treat if you can afford them! (I walked all of Lara Beach one day and the Sherwood was one of the best layouts). Loungers debate: ‘main activity pool’ are all gone before 7:30. In the end we preferred sitting at all the other pools anyway!-) Shopping: shops on site (as in any hotel) are way overpriced. Across the road is a parade of reasonably priced shopping malls, with bazaars a 5-10 mins walk. We thought the best for quality/price of clothing was the Kundu ‘Prestige’ shops. Otherall: we highly recommend this hotel. It was very clean. Great food. It’s a lovely resort (big but not too big). The staff are great and always polite, respectful, and courteous. (A special mention to; David, Serkan (Aqua Park), Fatma (waitress), the young lady who greets ‘everyone’ every night at the main restaurant). Due to our personal social media posts during our time at the hotel we have had several friends contacting us ready to make bookings in the next year (Sherwood, perhaps you might owe me a free holiday next year on commission!-)…
The staff have been great. We upgraded our room to sky suite, it was amazing. We used all a la carte restaurants but Turkish was our favourite. The staff cleaned our room very well. Guestrelations very helpful. The disco for children was brilliant. We loved the hotel. We will come back here again. Thank you all so much
We loved the hotel. Very clean. Food delicious. Staff are helpful and always smiling. Area of the hotel very clean and very nice. The hotel bot far from city center. We will come back here again. Thank you.
Had a great time here. Food was varied and always of a high quality. Lovely beaches and friendly staff. Special shout out to Erol, who was always a friendly face in the restaurant and was always attentive. The only minor downside was that the night time entertainment was a bit patchy but then again, it's a family resort. Would visit again.
Myself and partner are currently staying at the Sherwood Exclusive Lara in Antalya The hotel is brilliant, food second to none, guest relations staff are all pleasant and very helpful, we got a invite from them to go to the al a carte Mongolian restaurant and it was delicious, the chef and service was from Mehmut was A1 We drink mainly in the Panorama bar where Fatih and Sedat will look after all your requirements they are brilliant So overall we’re having a fantastic time and we will be back soon Den & Mavis
I think it’s a nice hotel. It’s clean, looks amazing, the staff are helpful, but some of staffs can’t speak English. The food is delicious but there will be a lot of choice. I like the spa Center. You can find any import drinks here.

We were there for Christmas and New Year. Overall, the hotel was very good. Entertainment had a good variety. Food, although a little repetitive at times was very good and always plenty to choose from. The hotel was always spotless, from rooms to public areas. All the staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for you and always very polite 👍, special mention though to Kadir and our rollerblading waiter Emrah, thanks guys. Finally, a big thanks to David for providing our daytime entertainment, darts and boules.
Arrival 24/12/22 not 5* to my wife and I. Room 2208 fairly standard good shower, TV was a shocker loads of channels but we could only understand one of them, BBC World News the rest were Russian, German, Polish etc. Sauna good, plenty of food, no CORN FLAKES very odd ! Beware Cats around the hotel lots of them including in the restaurant !!
