We went as a family of 6 in July 2024. We booked the grande deluxe room via Jet2 and there is one king size bed in one room, a room with 2 single beds and a seating area. We stayed at block C and were given rooms next to each other on the ground floor. The hotel is huge with lots of blocks and restaurants/eating area. 2 of our sons are autistic and it took them 2 days to get used to the hustle and bustle. The main dining area is an absolutely no no it was very busy and chaotic with hardly any spare tables although it was the one with the more food options. We ate at tulip restaurant most days but also have tried the bbq area which was delicious food as well as the jacket potato and waffle stand. The hotel is very clean and is busy with other holiday makers. We kept to ourselves and enjoyed the main big pool a lot which is great temperature (it reached over 40 degrees!). The drinks and ice creams were available when we needed to cool down. I really recommend the iced coffee.
The park is a definite must it’s small but hardly busy it gives a break from the water and sun with the kids. We didn’t use the kids club or the cinema room however the arcade was fun. You top up a card and use the machines.
We also spent a day at the beach the food there is chefs kiss really recommend the pizza. Also would recommend sea shoes as it’s stones and pebbles and not sand. There are lots of sunbeds both at the beach and the hotel pool and we didn’t struggle for any. The hotel is very clean and the staff are always up keeping this. Our room got cleaned daily and drinks were replenished every couple of days.
The balconies had hanging rails for wet clothes which dried quickly.
We did book a late checkout which cost more than I liked I would say about £20 but we utilised all the facilities eating , park and then using the book/tv room which had a coffee machine and somewhere we could charge our electronics.
We left our luggage at the luggage store until it was time to leave. Overall a holiday I didn’t think we could ever do with our boys but for a a very busy hotel it was perfect.

I emailed the hotel to make a reservation for the al a carte restaurant explaining it was for our anniversary, the day after we checked in a complimentary fruit bowl & bottle of wine was sent to our room.

To address some of the comments below.

As far as money being stolen goes, I'm sure the hotel vets all of it's staff but if you're stupid enough to put temptation if front of a large amount of people, then there will always be one person tempted. The proper thing to do would have been use the FREE safe in the room!

"The food was horrific" Neither of us, nor anyone we spoke to had a problem with the food. The food wasn't always steaming hot but that's always the case when people don't put lids down. "I was ill all week" Again we never spoke to anybody who had a problem, maybe worth a visit to a doctor?

"If you are a person of colour do not expect to be welcomed" FFS! probably more than 50% of the guests were 'persons of colour'. We spoke to families from Africa, Iran & the Caribbean, none of them mentioned having had any problems. As for the staff, not everybody works long hours & still manages to smile all the time. Most of the bar staff serving the outside tables had a smile on their face & were always polite.

To sum up, I honestly believe that the hotel aspires to 5* status. The room was clean & cleaned regularly. The food was hot & varied with a really wide choice of different dishes. The bar service was fast & efficient. I would recommend booking the a la carte if you get the chance, 5 courses of freshly cooked food of your choosing for about a tenner, what's not to like?

The million dollar question, would we come back? To the hotel? in a heartbeat. To Antalya? not in a million years, only because we prefer to be closer to a marina, boat trips & restaurants.

There is NOTHING wrong with this Hotel.
The hotel is spacious with friendly staff from checkin to checkout
i booked a family room even though it was just a couple holiday as I personally like having more space. But the rooms were squeaky clean and tidy with plenty of towels, loo rolls, toiletries, tea bags, wardrobes and sockets available. It was daily cleaned and beds were made. I did have a street view towards the Delphin and would have preferred the pool view, however I had not requested this so no complaints. There was a small balcony provided which was great especially at nights. Satellite tv was available however all in local languages (expected). Water was hot in shower and taps.
The only issue with the room was the front door seemed jammed when opened from inside and it required a bit of tugging to open but I didn't think it was a big deal to complain about and there are pipe works running inside the cupboard in the bathroom that would make noise at night. Therefore this may be a turnoff for any light sleepers. I couldn't quite get the AC working and instead it was blowing hot air but its a cold season so again didn't matter.
There are 4 pools with one being heated near the E BLOCK (Tulip restaurant). Well guarded by lovely people and all pools are clean. I didn't notice an outside shower but again I prefer room showers after a swim. I could imagine this being crowded in busier periods. There are not that many trees around and the pool is surrounded by tower blocks but some few orange trees are overlooking and a Christmas tree. Its Well lit and well maintained.
There are few shops indoors but literally 2 min outside the door start all the cheaper markets and then the malls which were very quiet at this time of the year. But managed to grab good bargains.
If you want a more busier area, as Lara is more sophisticated then go for a day trip to Manavghat Marine Lines. The car rental service which costs about €50 for the day is great as you get an air conditioned well lit spacious ride with your own driver. (€25/trip)

The main restaurant is the best. Food is first class with each item cooked and prepared with equal attention and flavour. Great selection and the poultry and fish is very well cooked. Grabbing water was a bit confusing as the bar didn't serve it and you had to ask the table cleaners but again they served you graciously. The snack bar was really nice with free drinks/ tea.
Overall this is a hotel and not a Resort therefore if you go with this expectation then you would not be disappointed 🫶🏼

The place is filthy, what a difference six months makes, we came here in April and was blown away by the place and we’ve come back in October and all I can say is it’s filthy. Everything you touch has flies on it. The food services are not clean. The chefs are not putting food down and covering things up the place is absolutely disgustingly dirty. We paid more this time and the room has been cleaned once in a week you get what you paid for you get cheap cheap drinks. You don’t get the ice lollies. The café eating areas are filthy and you get the top pool which is heated, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do your research and look around, 4* more like a 1, I’m not fussy but this is minging…

I appreciate everyone has their own opinion but I really don’t understand the negative comments for this hotel. We have just returned from 10 days as a group of 14. All 4 rooms were spotless and cleaned regularly, mini fridge not always restocked but just brought water up from the fridges all round the hotel. The pools were great, aqua aerobics each day which was fun & inflatables every other day at lunchtime for some more fun. Kids club was amazing for the younger ones, so much to do. We did feel that more activities should be added for teenagers. Evening entertainment was brilliant. Help yourself to ice lollies all day at the snack bar by the water slides. Small gym but everything you need. Food was great, there was always something you could find. We liked to sit on the terrace above the main restaurant to eat as the main area does get quite busy. Peppermint restaurant was unreal and so cheap for what you get. Baked potato and waffle hut at lunchtime went down a treat. And finally the staff, what a brilliant job they do running such a big hotel, always cleaning, always happy to serve you & always with a smile. Fantastic hotel and value for money.

Just arrived back from staying 10 nights . Entertainment was great pool great apart from the lifeguards on there phones not watching the teen boys jumping off the bridge nearly landing on the people swimming from underneath it. Hotel staff at reception could be more friendlier in terms of a smile they look very annoyed all the time . The room (1111) was appalling upon arrival one double bed for me and my husband and 11 Yr old daughter no balcony couldnt dry anything properly .We complained they Brought a fold out bed with no top sheet! Only 2 towels in the bathroom which we constantly had to remind them at reception there were 3 of us . The bathroom had not been cleaned the whole 10 days we were there ! Toilet rolls provided that was it . Soap dispenser in the shower was not refilled from previous guests again complained to reception still wasn't replenished. The food in the main restaurant was repeated cakes are very bland , the guests do not que nor do they say please or thankyou lots of rude people, a suggestion for the main restaurant would be to serve the guests with a portion of what they ask for rather than let them be vultures and waste huge amounts of food just because they are greedy . Shops in the hotel are stupidly expensive for fake stuff bot to mention suncream . A small bottle of nivea 20 euro ! Rip off . Snack bar of a day was excellent and the bbq area served what they should have in the main restaurant such as grilled chicken , chicken nuggets for the kids only seen it once . The staff at the spa are relentless as well as the tattoo guys who literally shove a brochure at you and tell you quiet aggressive that you will enjoy and be happy with the best prices . Outside the hotel stay away from the bizarre complete rip off and again trying to scam you for fake stuff . All in all would not stay here again can get better quality elsewhere but again entertainment was great it made it bearable whilst we were there . I would like to point out that the night before leaving ,we was approached by a staff member asking how we enjoyed our time and he wanted us to write a good review. We explained we would write our honest review once home as we where going to eat dinner , he stopped in front of us and said NO it would be better for you to write one now whilst I'm here so I can check it over!!! RED FLAG RIGHT THERE why would you try and force someone to write a review and force a good one ?

This is a great hotel! For the cost of the holiday and the level of inflation in Turkey currently, I wasn’t expecting much and it delivered more. I travelled with 2 teenagers. We had a Family Elite room, which was basic, but clean and spacious with a small balcony. It was originally planned to have a small second bedroom and a larger sitting room but this had been switched around. Personally, I think the original plan was better, but the girls were happy and I am sure it made it easier for Housekeeping.

The hotel is not at all mean with the water with plenty of well stocked fridges at every turn.

The food is good. There is a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables laid out at the buffets and all sorts of breads, carbs, meat and fish choices and casserole style food. The coffee is also very good (very important!) We only visited the main buffet once - it was a bit like a plague of very rude locusts descending when we went, but there are other options in the evening included in the deal, such as the barbecue.

I was pleasantly surprised that we had a porter help us with our bags on arrival and I thank the hotel very much for that - the hotel is vast and we got there after midnight so I appreciated that very much - I was dreading trying to find our room with two travel-weary girls and all of our luggage at that time of night.

I thought all of the hotel staff were wonderful and friendly and they worked so hard. It was SO hot when we were there but everybody still carried on as if it was 20 degrees outside!

One day we got back to our room and the air con wasn’t working in the girls’ bedroom. A quick call to guest relations and someone came and reset it within the hour, for which we were very grateful

There are people going around emptying bins and picking up rubbish all the time.

Whilst there is a shuttle to take you to the beach, we rarely used it because it’s only about 600m down a shady path so perfectly walkable. The beach is great! Shades over the plentiful loungers so you can pick your level of sun exposure and, again, the bins being emptied constantly. There is a well stocked bar and a cafe there with lots of fresh fruit and salads, pasta, pizza, chips, burgers and kebabs. I avoided the pool - way too crowded for me - but the girls enjoyed the slides.

There is a small strip of shops in the hotel lobby - more expensive, as you would expect, but not ridiculously so. The Orion Bazaar is about 200m away and we had lots of fun bartering for things there.

All in all, I think this is a very well run hotel and great value for money - thank you so much for a really lovely holiday!

3rd time at this hotel, approx 25 mins transfer, rooms basic but clean with comfy beds and a free safe, however did have quite a few ants on the balcony, staff sorted this straight away, cleaner came in the days we requested and always did a great job aswell as restocking the mini fridge, good variety of food and drinks, 24 hour bar in the main lobby, staff always busy cleaning and serving all over the resort, I went in a group of 15, some wouldn't go back but others would, bear in mind your in a foreign country, enjoy the different foods, the main pool had its own bar and food area too... we always had recliners around the heater pool, kids loved it (3,4,6) also went in the children's club a few times, did cup cake making and tee-shirt painting, play park also next to the children's club which the kids seemed to enjoy, small aqua park with 4 slides these where on the majority of the time too, also a baby pool and the main pool which was unheated, plenty of sunbeds and tables around the resort. Night time entertainment started at 8 for the children till about 8.35, then the main entertainment started at 9 till about 9.45 micheal jackson dance tribute was the best , after 10 they had a live singer outside or 2 of the best dj's ever on till about 12 /12,30am the djs seemed to do alternate nights, one outside then the other in the nightclub. I was in H block which was ideal as this is the closest to the heated pool and the tulip restaurant (which is open 22hrs a day) and its away from the nightclub and nighttime entertainment so It was nice and peaceful, they also have a bar in H Block and a live pianist from 8, and we found a small patisserie hidden at the rear left of the bar, ive stayed in C and D block but will definitely be requesting H Block again, perfect location, can't wait to go back 😉

We chose the hotel because it allows us to stay with pets; we came with a Chihuahua. 3 adults and a child. There is a separate surcharge for a dog - 20 euros per day. You can take your pet with you everywhere, with the exception of indoor restaurants (on the terrace you can). It was a little disappointing - the dog was very small, we held it in our arms and definitely didn’t bother anyone, but, however, it was impossible to take the dog into the restaurant (((
We really liked the hotel! The girl Evzhan at the reception checked us in at 11 o'clock in the afternoon; we had a family double room with a balcony on the 5th floor. Cleaning is regular, but not very high quality, the balcony is not cleaned at all, the mirrors are dirty, dust flies out from under the bed. The plumbing needs cleaning - the taps are rusty.
The food is beyond all praise🥰 you can have a delicious meal at any time of the day, in addition to the main restaurant there are many snack bars and a 24/7 restaurant, every day unlimited ice cream and drinks at the bar (I would like to mention the bartender Dogaan Can, he is very polite and makes the most delicious cocktails ).
I liked the fact that there are lifeguards on duty everywhere - on the beach and at every pool, they also control the slides - a huge respect to all the guys👍. Without them there would be complete chaos there.
The animation is good, we went to water aerobics and liked the animators Albina and Alena. Every evening there is a bright show by invited artists, followed by live music. The mini-disco is also excellent, the child (3 years old) enjoyed going. The mini-club is intended for children over 4 years old; the tasks were too difficult for ours. But the animators are very nice and friendly girls, everyone speaks Russian.
The beach is sandy, the sea is clean. There are plenty of sun loungers, a canopy, a bar, a children's playground, a shower and a cafe. Located across the street from the hotel, about 5 minutes on foot, you can use the services of an electric car.
Everywhere in the hotel there are refrigerators with clean bottled water, a special thank you for that👍
There is also an excellent spa center, we went to the Turkish hammam and for a massage, I liked the girl Aiza from Kyrgyzstan, golden hands ❤️
In general, the hotel left a pleasant impression, perhaps we will come again next year).

I want to give this place a fair and balanced review so I will start with the Pros and move on to the cons.

Pros
Food is plentiful and available all round the clock , there are different sections around the hotel too so you will always find something different. The snacks are great and the 24 hour canteen always has something you would want. The pool is a good size and enjoyable, the beach is lovely with lots of seats available and only a 5 min walk from the hotel there is also a ride available every 10 mins. The entertainment was also really good you can tell the hotel took it seriously. All facilities were always clean and overall I would say it was good value for money.

CONS
THE RECIEPTION STAFF. Considering they are the face of the hotel and who you would have to deal with if you have any questions they were the rudest bunch of people I have ever come across and that goes for every single one of them. They were condescending and unhelpful. Grand Lara Park please invest in training your staff in how to provide good customer service and please teach them how to smile. Another issue was the towel on bed situation. There seems to be no policy for when you can put your towels on the beds without them being taken off. Twice our towels went missing and the staff each told us something different, some staff said it was other guests others said it’s the staff. This seemed to be a daily thing and it happened to other guests too. Also the toilets do have a smell of sewage however that seems to be a issue in a lot of places in Turkey.

In conclusion apart from the rude reception staff we did enjoy our stay. The location of the hotel is good and there are plenty of shops around it. I would recommend it.

It is about 15–20 kilometers (around 20–30 minutes by car) from the main nightlife area in Antalya, which is concentrated in the city center and the Old Town (Kaleiçi). Kaleiçi is a historic district with charming streets filled with bars, restaurants, and clubs. It’s the heart of Antalya’s nightlife…
