Great food and hospitality. Good portion sizes, good service and a nice surprise when we got the bill. Very busy night but staff managed to be on top of the service. Great building with character would definitely go back again Highly recommended

On our 2nd anniversary we were not looking for a 'special' meal in fact we only decided last minute to dine out as our diets were going well after far too many 'fine dining experiences in 2015. We decided on Tapas and found that The Rake' in Littleborough offered 'authentic Tapas. We booked a table at 5.30 and dined at...

This is one of the best Tapas places I've been to. Every dish was delicious, zero complaints. Recommend the ribs, gorgeous! All the staff are very polite which is always a bonus! Very warm and cosy place, we will definitely visit again :)

The rooms at the Rake are a complete surprise. Outside, it looks like a typical country pub of grey stone and slightly tired looking. The Rake is on a small road of a modern housing estate. We checked in by going in to the very small bar. There was a crowd of about 8 people that completely filled the bar....

We stayed in one of the rooms behind the restaurant. Very clean and nicely furnished. It was a bit difficult navigating having a shower (just a tub with a shower attachment and nothing to stop the water going all over the floor and walls!) and it's a bit noisy from the restaurant, However, the breakfast that came with the room...

We stopped over here following our son and his friend as they cycled from Lands End to Edinburgh. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated The restaurant has several intimate dining areas and its dark stone walls, artwork and eclectic furniture set the scene for a delightful tapas experience. The owner and his staff give a warm and friendly welcome

Visited Littleborough, Rochdale for a family Wedding and stayed her for two nights. My partner & I stayed in Room 1 - £125.00 per night. A pleasant surprise. Best described as a Junior Suite with lounge area, ensuite and bedroom. The suite is expensively decorated and attention has been made to the quality of furnishings, detail and the finishes. The...

Having cycled 50 miles finishing with cragg vale (longest climb in England), it was very satisfying to sit on the terraced patio enjoying the sunshine. As usual we ordered too many tapas because there are so many to choose from. Forget the diet. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is very friendly and...

Visited here for my first time. Great food and service, superb specials menu on offer and compliments to the chief. In no way did we feel rushed and had a really great night. All round hidden gem. I will be coming back very soon. I would recommend this to my family and friends to try.
