It was quite a special trip for me and my boyfriend and we select a place not too far from BKK where I originally from. Finally we selected to stay this hotel. Our room has been upgraded to Junior Suite as room wasn't ready at the time we checked in.
Talking about the room.. very specious with panoramic view of Pattaya beach. Also there was a birthday cake set up before our arrival as requested. Just few things I would like to bring up is the bed size is a Double bed (Queen Size) even though it's a suite room....? The AC was not cold AT ALL, but later engineer went up and fix it. So everything was fine. Not to blame the Front staff but Housekeeping should have checked before let the room inspected? The minibar cost (Singha Beer) was even more expensive than ordering at the Twist restaurant...? (Not talking about buying from outside store though).
At the Twist We went there for dinner and breakfast on the day after. Food was superb also the service. I ordered Lychee Mojito expected to have whiskey in it. Staff made it without whiskey, but later came to apologize with a new glass which I really appreciated. Breakfast there was nice, many selection. However, our table was taken by other guests without anyone knowing it was reserved?
In summary, I still rather rate this review of mine as 5 stars and special thank to the lady to upgraded my room. (Room number #408)

The costs of both items are different even though they have the same amount. Recommended by a friend we booked a Saturday night. The huge swimming pool was sparkling clean and even though many young children were enjoying the facilities we were not disturbed. lovely towels at the pool and plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas for us all. Friendly bar staff and life-guards in attendance Pool 1.2.m deep all over. Views from our spectacular room were superb from Yacht marina to our left, pool and beach dead ahead an Jomtien beach to right. The sunset from our balcony was lovely Sunday afternoon Chocolate feast was a special bonus, I am a chocoholic! One hour 16.00 to 17.00 fabulous selection of delicious chocolate delights. A good buffet breakfast after an early morning swim was enjoyed. We will be back.

The hotel is located in a nice location of beach where we can enjoy the spectacular private sea views. We stayed in Junior Suite with club benefits I would say that we’re so much satisfied since we first step into the room. It was so clean and smell so good, all in-room amenities have been perfect arranged like we want nothing else more for beach getaway staycation. All staff were very friendly and very helpful especially Khun Nui - Front Office and Khun Mon - Housekeeping because we need some help during the stay and they provided the very good responds even we known they were a bit busy on duty too.

A few days before my children came to visit me, I went to the hotel, asked, if we had (expensive) lunch by the pool, we could enjoy an afternoon on their premises, use chairs and pool. They assured me that as long I ordered food and drinks, we were mostly welcome.
On the afternoon we decided to go, all not went as expected. We were bothered 3 times, a very agressive way, although have ordered already the food, about sitting around the pool, almost insult me, in front of my family.
Now I not look like a beggar, I am a known wine taster, and delivered to the highest standard restaurants and hotels. NEVER been I received this way. Ordering for a few thousand baht for drink and food worth, in a almost deserted pool area and restaurant.
If I spend money in a hotel, I am technically a hotel guest. We not walked in from the beach area, but reception. In fact they let me loose face in front of my children, 23 an 17 years old and of my fiancee. My fiancee, Asian but not Thai, being barked at, when she asked if she could use a towel.
So maybe if you book a room, the treat you with more courtesy. But we packed our things, and spend a wonderful time at the hotel next door. We live in the area. Go often to eat specials in hotels and restaurants, where they appreciate our visits.
Well not here. So not ever set a foot there, as neither any other movenpick hotel, although we were hotel guests from the group before.

I attended the Sunday Family Brunch at the Twist restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. The restaurant itself has a very comfortable layout. I have been to many buffets over the 20 years I have been living in Pattaya, however this is the very best Brunch buffet I have come across. Oysters, Alaskan king crab, sashimi, cold cuts, cheeses, as well as freshly cooked foods such as fish, lamb, etc. They even had a kids station, deserts were delicious. I opted for the 'bubbles' for the drink, the staff were always on standby to fill my drink. Included in the price is free pool access which was great. Also - if you spend 5,000 baht you get a free 1 nights stay in the most beautiful room - a great option so you don't need to drive home after eating and drinking so much. Highly recommended, You need to give it a try.

Booked through Agoda a couple of days before the trip. Got a good deal, so all were good until I reached the hotel and tried to check-in. Turns out that Agoda screwed up and did not book my room at the hotel. There are three or four other groups of people with the same problem I encountered. After a few long phone calls to the Agoda customer service representatives, they could not solve the issue and give me the room I booked. The final solution was that I pay the hotel walk-in rate first for whatever room they have left available, and that Agoda will reimburse me for what I paid at the hotel. We ended up getting a corner suite, way bigger than what we originally booked for. The refund was also sent to me approximately 1 month after check out and after I send Agoda all the receipts.
The facility of the hotel is quite good. The swimming pool has slides that the kids enjoy. They also give out free chocolate at the lobby bar everyday at a set time. All in all, good experience despite the delay during check in.

Back here again for my second time with my family of five (kids, grandma and hubby) and the Executive Lounge'd never let me down. We left bkk to find a hygiene place to release our stress from covid-19 crisis during my kids summer break and this place is our right choice.
Since checkin for 2 nights stay tills our yesterday checkout, we'd meet very helpful and friendly staffs, Khun Tippy, Khun Ekkie and Khun Benz from club lounge team. Cozy space, Stunning sunsetting view on Panorama lounge, great foods and non stop serving drinks and cocktails are beyond our expectations.
Our Family Suite's tidy and clean up everyday. Room space is just right for 4 people. The beachfront and pool staffs remember my kids' name and take a good care of their area.
Definitely be back again soon and Thank you for giving us a good heal from our covid-19 stressful.

Our 2nd Christmas at this hotel and it was perfect! I brought our new daughter and my father and brother from the UK joined us this time.
The best thing about Movenpick Jomtien, in a red ocean of hotels, is the staff! They truly create the warmest and friendliest holiday atmosphere you could wish for. Khun Nui at reception greeted me personally, Khun Ratna was superb in accommodating the best table for my elderly father and 3-month-old daughter. Khun CD was fantastic in serving our table for a fantastic Christmas dinner. Housekeeping do an extraordinary job and recognised that our daughter might be sleeping so Khun Kung spoke to us in the corridor every day when we left and asked us for a convenient time to clean the room. Khun Patty at the pool area was fantastic and patient at understanding my father's diet requirements. Khun Ko in the gym could also see I had a knee strap when exercising and he advised me on some exercises to help improve the injury. After an interesting day out at the elephant camp, my Dad was a bit tired and was walking slowly, so staff in the lobby offered a wheelchair without even asking! Amazing attention to detail! The GM Dmitry has created a service mind with everyone that is by far the best I have ever experienced in any hotel and we will be back next Christmas for sure!

I am a Platinum member of Accor, and I got degrade the room type instead of upgrade. I booked the room for Premimum room through All Accor Live system ahead of time and paid much higher price than Vouher value that the hotel sold to non Accor member.
When I arrived at the hotel I got degrade the room type from Premium room to just deluxe room, the reason the front told me they sold all the rooms by vouchers to non Accor members at much lower price that I have paid through All Accor Live system. I think this is the most unfair for the Platinum member. So I want the Accor Platinum members to know, the Platinum member is worthless at Movenpick Pattaya.
At first I thought I will never come back to Movenpick Pattaya anymore.
But only one nicest here is the Guest Relation manager Khun Radna, she is extreamly nice and have the best service mind.

Movenpick Pattaya It's a calm and cosy place to stay in far from noise and crowd of Pattaya city without traveling for it. Sea views rooms with all the amenities you could wish for are available and up to date. The Hotel beach has a clean yellow sand and water is crystal clear. Swimming pool was always clean and staff was very helpful and polite. I definitely recommend this place 🙌🏻🔝

I found the room quality to be good but the food and beverage charges to be very high by Thailand standards
