There is a convenience store across the street, where you can buy just about anything you need for drinks, snacks or personal items.
The breakfast was very adequate with western and Thai selections. There appeared to be three eating areas. We chose to sit poolside, which was a very quiet setting. The choice of eggs on the buffet was limited to soft boiled and fried. We asked if there were any other options and we were informed we could opt for an omelet or scrambled eggs made to order. We chose scrambled, and to my surprise...and this is a big exception in Thailand...they were cooked to perfection. Light, airy and slightly moist/runny. The way they should be, and unlike the rubbery product most places serve. If for no other reason, and there are the aforementioned reasons, I would return to Savotel for the eggs alone.
Checkout went as efficiently as check in and we were on our way after spending a few more hours by the pool relaxing.
I was delightfully surprised by the Savotel though as it is very much a million miles from that. It had only been open for 2 months & is tucked out of the way. However it has a great pool & is 200 metres away from a barely used & beautiful beach.
Breakfast was a fairly typical SEA buffet, where you have to be very picky not to find something to eat, but probably would not bother setting your alarm for.
On the other hand, the meals that they served in the day were very good value & well presented.
They do run a regular bus service into Pattaya proper for 60 baht - a schedule is posted in reception. For the couple of days I was there it was not necessary for me though as there was enough within walking distance to satisfy me.

The review is mixed. Since there wasn’t much choice by country at the moment from Russia, we rushed to Thailand. Well, we bought into the reviews at Savotel. We vacationed as a couple. There are no special comments about the room, the air conditioning is not very good, and the cleaning is lame. They give you 2 bottles of 0.5 water each day, towels for both the shower and the beach, shampoo and gel almost every day, but sometimes they forgot to put it in, but that was enough for us.
I didn’t like the food at all, it was the same thing, there was almost no choice, by the end of the holiday I didn’t want anything at all, even though everything was edible. There are no baked goods at all, the only drinks are water and water, and the only fruits are watermelon and pineapple. Of course, we weren’t hungry, but we only enjoyed the fruit.
Far from civilization.
We took three excursions: Bangkok, Bambu and military beach. I liked everyone, but we were unlucky with the weather when we went to the military beach, it rained, and then downpour... We didn’t manage to swim.
The hotel pool is clean, the sunbeds are comfortable, whoever wanted to relax by the pool, there were enough sunbeds for everyone.
Beach... Except the sea, that is. The Gulf of Thailand is nothing good, and the water is not always clean... Only in the morning, when the tide is high... There is nothing on the beach except a small number of trees.
Of course, it’s optimal to go somewhere for a swim, but this is an additional expense...
It must have turned out a bit chaotic, but honestly...
Bonus for us was that this place is quiet and peaceful. If you want bright lights, shops, and nightclubs then you will be disappointed.
Staff are friendly and helpful. There is Russian tour agency in the foyer -but remember this ethnic group is the future of Thai tourism so they need to keep this in mind. No package groups evident yet!
In the room is clean and big but in walkway has garbage. It's too bad for guest to saw this. They must improve this and let guest know rule.
Staff are good service.
The hotel is new and rooms are fantastic! The pool is big and has Jacuzzi!
I spent fantastic 10 days there and have only good feelings about the place!
I will recommend this hotel to my friends and hopefully will be back again!
"The rooms overlooking the pool are probably best, Nice, but small, balcony - ideal for the early evening."Read full review
