Hi Ruth, Tobleso is correct about the length of the pool, and I am confident you will enjoy the view! You would just need to swim more laps than usual. There are also ample opportunities for hiking on the property and a private gym with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. We hope to see you soon!

The drive to Monterverdi is a great drive, do not let some of the posts fool you. It is super easy to navigate, both our car nav system and google maps on our iphone was perfectly fine. With that said, if you are coming from Sarteano, the roads are paved until the very last bit which is about 3 km, where it turns to compacted gravel road. The hotel will valet the car for you, or you can also park it on a gravel parking pad behind the villas, which was convenient for us since the villa we were renting was only a minute away. I rented a Citroen DS 5, which is a sports sedan and i had no problems navigating around Tuscany and to and from Monterverdi. Enter the coordinates below in Google Earth and it will show you the location of the parking.
