Manulalu Jungle is a destination all in itself. Tucked into the hills outside Bajawa your villa will have a private deck with a view over the surrounding hillsides and traditional villages. The rooms are VERY comfortable and well furnished and the restaurant has even better views of the surrounding hills and Mount Iniere. You could easily spend a couple of days just relaxing at Manulalu on top of the many activities around Bajawa.

Our villas are perfectly located on the edge of the complex overseeing directly the mountain. You can relax on the terrace facing the mountain while sipping Flores coffee. The rooms are clean. The villas have ecolodge design mostly with wood construction.
Rather secluded, but highly recommended if you are in Bajawa region.

A delightful “pod” like room, all wood and glass with amazing view down the valley and to the volcano behind. Several beds, the room could have slept 4 or 5. A lovely shower room and large veranda with day bed and table and chairs. Imaginatively and quirkily designed. The restaurant eccentrically is about 5 mins drive further up the mountain side. The food at dinner was not good, breakfast a bit better.

This place is beautiful and I would thoroughly recommend it. The views are stunning, the rooms are clean with nice touches and Stefanie and the other staff were very helpful. The food is also above average for Indonesia and the homemade bread is delicious!

Absolutely loved staying in one of the bungalows at Manulalu. The view from the room is breathtaking, taking in the volcano, forests, the traditional village of Bena right to the ocean. You are surrounded by birdsong and trees. The bungalow is spacious, and comfortable and the bathroom is massive. Breakfast is brought to the bungalow and dinner is a short drive away at Heaven's Door (delicious food and good atmosphere...also with an incredible view of the volcano).

Peaceful and secluded. Gorgeous boho vibes. Kids were excited at the loft bed in family bungalow. We used the mattress from the outdoor lounge for our third child but that was fine. However extra bedding wasn't provided. Bathroom was lovely, great views! Lovely balcony

The view is nothing short of spectacular and its right from the huge terrace of our villa. The location is right at the base of Mount Inerie and you feel you can reach out and touch the mountain. Its remote but worth the long drive. NO ac, tv wifi and you are truly one with nature because you have a 270 degree view.
Food is very decent though not a large variety..vegetables are all fresh and organic where they grow everything themselves. But because of the remoteness of the place chef is very limited to what he can produce.but whatever he does it tastes good!
Only negative input is the loft in the villas which is supposed to be the family style suite. They put an extra mattress up on the loft..However..it is very high and the ladder to get up to the loft is not attached in any way, its not stable and l think dangerous. So us being a party of three insisted the mattress be brought down and laid on the floor next to the double bed. They did this willingly with smiles on all their faces despite the mattress being very heavy and we were satisfied too.
The staff are super friendly though limited in number so it may take some time to get what you want but you do eventually..All in all HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. YOU MUST VISIT THIS PLACE you will not regret it.
