We had a fantastic time on the trails looking at the amazing wild life. Afterwards, we went on an incredibly informative chocolate tour. You'll be happy to know that the entire foundation is non-profit, and all proceeds go to research and protecting the wildlife.

On our recent trip to Costa Rica, we were taken to Tirimbina on two occasions. First, in the evening to learn about bats. Stephen, our guide was bright, enthusiastic, entertaining and exceedingly knowledgeable about bats. His presentation was lively and if ANYONE could have eventually encouraged me to get close to a bat, it would have been Stephen. Had our...

Although the accommodation is simple the time had there was wonderful experience. the wildlife brilliant and a trip to La Selva most interesting. We were very fortunate to have an end room with virtually private garden. So much spotted here including baby armadillos. The gardener works not stop and showed us the sloth very near to our lodge! So nice...

We did not use the lodge so cannot comment! Our guide that took us through the jungle was amazing, we saw poison dart frogs, howler monkeys, all sorts of flora! We walked on a good path that was easy to navigate. There were people that had canes that were going along just fine. The hanging bridge that you cross is...

The rooms are simple, but functional. You get working WiFi, a good AC and ample amount of shelves. The lodge is excellently situated for wildlife viewing, with great guides. There is much wildlife to be seen at the actual lodge, and all the staff is really helpful in helping you find it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tirimbina Lodge. The staff, especially David, were amazing! He helped us with a rental car issue, booked our whitewater rafting and was always pleasant. Another member of the staff helped me to spot a sloth immediately upon arrival and provided great hiking tips. Lots of fun hiking and spotting wildlife, enjoying the trees, and...

The hotel is very simple. We had rooms with shared bathrooms. beds are also very simple. The rooms are clean. Breakfast was ok. There were some choices, but not as in other costa rica hotels. It is in a green environment with trees and such around the accommodations.

We stayed here 3 nights In a "deluxe" room, which was clean and spacious. It had a/c, but we didn't need to use it. Liked having a patio. As other have mentioned, the walls are a little thin, so can be a little noisy. Also, patio screens didn't lock, so was a little concerned about security, but had no issues....

Enjoyed the chocolate tour. First visit to Costa Rica. We are touring with another couple. We are using Natural Solutions to plan our tour. We have a guide that was an excellent idea. There are rooms and food available. We are staying tonight and going for a bird walk early in the morning.

We booked the tirimbina lodge because we heard the Sarapiqui Valley was worth a visit, but we didn't know we would stay in a place with such a beautiful forest attached to it! When you stay in one of the basic and comfortable rooms you can visit the forest whenever you like. To get there, you have to cross a...
