Hmmm - where to start? Location is grand, possibly quite underutilized, possibly dangerous for elderly and kids (it rained and whoaaaa - this is slippery!!!!) staff was under stimulated and bored (note: no guest on premises) brekkie was spartan and nominal but did I mention the view? "Spectacular..." Ownership transition would allow evolving and promotion of this stagnant enterprise that...

We stayed there for two days. The location is very nice. The resort is build into the cliff with a lot of stairs down to the water. The downside was, that everything saw its best years. For example:there was so much lime in the shower heads that the water flow was very slow. The stuff was friendly, but walked a...

Our stay was fabulous from the room to the drinks/views and staff. We had stayed elsewhere and came and looked at Moxon's before booking...and one look and we were SOLD. Very reasonably priced...with great pool, incredible view and private swim beach with two swim piers. The dining room was temporarily closed but there were 2 bars open...and they offered to...

Just spent a week at Moxon's. I was looking for a quiet place, away from the "all inclusive" resorts. They reserved a shuttle from Montego Bay for me, the fare is $25.00 each way. I went snorkeling and this was great, compare to the people who bought a tour and spent about 30 minutes and back on the boat, I could...

We loved our stay at Moxons. If you like an all inclusive experience, where you could literally be on any beach and not know the difference, this is not for you. Moxons is tucked away on the edge of the ocean in a small town with wonderful people and rich culture. The hotel has amazing views of the ocean from...

We're usually the all inclusive, high energy type. (my wife and I) and boy have we been converted. We happened to stay here not by choice but because we had to attend a wedding nearby and it just made economic and logistical sense. Having arrived on the outside we were wondering if we were at the right place as the...

Should be a sought-after destination. Rates out of line with market. Similar 3-star hotels all completely booked - Moxons empty. Great views on sea side. Good reef for snorkelling 200m offshore. Not a bad property but not good value. Continental breakfast very meagre.

Stayed a few times in this off the beaten track hotel first found by my 5 star sister!! Still well maintained, great location, with sea views down the cliff and places to eat/drink from many points down to actual sea pool. Small pool near restaurant but can also use sea. Need good knees for steps up and down! Must say,...

Moxons is physically in a great location; it’s quiet, secluded and serene. The exterior is extremely misleading and honestly for me that’s a part of the charm. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully done with stunning views that left me blown away. The restaurant was closed on a holiday, as long as you have patrons, you should offer services. While...

Due to some last second travel issues we ended up staying here for two nights Dec 27-28, 2015. The staff was excellent here...very polite and accommodating. The actual room was nice sized and ample for 3 of us. The water pressure and one of the plumbing fixtures was not great. The food was average at best but the resort ambiance...

This newly built 20 room boutique hotel and restaurant built on 4 levels cascading down to our own private beach flanked by 2 large piers. We are on a one mile reef making this some of the best snorkeling around. 80% of the rooms face the sea with large private verandas. The balance faces our charming courtyard.
