Well, I am not one for going away for Christmas, i'm a home bird. But my youngest daughter has recently moved to Bristol and couldn't get back to Yorkshire for Christmas, so the solution was...take Christmas to her. That meant me, my hubby, my eldest daughter, my ancient mother and our decrepit dog...piled into 2 cars and set off for...

Stayed a week in Fry's Barn cottage, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with my aged parents, my wife and I. The total quality of the cottage was superb, very well appointed with modern bathroom and kitchens and at this time of year a lovely wood burning stove. All the kitchen appliances were top quality, ample amounts of cutlery and...

A well appointed cottage, in a beautiful location with friendly hosts. Fry's barn is an absolute delight to stay in and my parents who stayed in the Bakehouse would recommend this for couples. It is within easy reach of the M5, but ignore your sat nav as it will try and take you through many contour lines

We stayed in 'The Granary', which was well equipped without loosing it's cottage charm. Very clean and comfortable, with lively beds. Dog friendly with a field for exercising the dogs. The roads to the property are a little on the narrow side, but more than passagable even with a big car. We had a wonderful and relaxing week.

Mike and Ruth have got the running of this place spot on. It's a really relaxed process from booking through to the day you sadly have to leave. We stayed in the Hayloft for a week along with our wee Schnauzer and had a fantastic break in a fabulous setting. Lots of little touches make this place a benchmark by...

Liked both bedrooms were virtually ensuite. Able to take dog out without disturbing my daughter & walking very convenient if a little grassy. Everything worked. Hosts were helpful & friendly. Very comfortable.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish,( including the dog's chair to make sure that 92 year old mother in law was able to sit comfortably). We shall certainly stay here again, though it is such a lovely cottage and Mike and Ruth are such lovely people that it will probably be booked up far in advance. We felt very much...

We woudl happily return to Home Farm. Ruth and Mike were helpful, pleasant hosts and the cottage was very comfortable. We liked having the lounge separate from the kitchen diner. There was excellent fencing which made it safe even for our little terrier. We had 5 sleeping there for a family week-end and there was good space. ONLY hiccup is...

Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. We will look again at the space in Granary cottage when we next refurbish to see if we can fit in a separate/additional shower room. Thanks for the feedback. Mike/Ruth

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, well equipped and comfortable! We're visiting again in order to catch up with friends and family and to enjoy the hospitality of Ruth and Mike. Home Farm is an estate with a history and it is close to lovely Axbridge, Wells and Glastonbury. If you like walking the view from Crooks Peak is breathtaking. The...

Thank you BMR for your review and we agree the views from Crook Peak are really nice across to the Brecons, the Somerset Flats, Glastonbury Tor and the North Devon coast. So pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and used the gardens for your family get together. Ruth
