Great couple of nights in the Rosehip Gypsy Caravan. Cosy Compact and warm. Secluded position with all amenities close by in the main farm building or within the caravan. Superb view across open fields. Ideal base for surrounding towns and villages. Welcome pack great and other local produce available. Hosts very helpful with local knowledge and ensuring you have everything you need.

A lovely welcome by David and the animals of the farm. We stayed in Pinder Lodge. Lodge was well kept, clean and full of everything you could need, even a cupboard of games which due to some rain we made the most of. Fantastic quiet setting with beautiful views, we especially loved seeing the young calves. Great patio area and enclosed grassed area ( perfect for pooch). Loved the hot-tub and would have used outdoor area if weather had been better. Little onsite shop full of delicious local produce too. Great location for exploring Dales.

We're so lucky to live and work in such a stunning setting! We can provide fabulous facilities but can't guarantee the weather but sounds like you had a wonderful time anyway - glad you found the games cupboard useful - I'm sure there was a lot of competitive family fun!

Well appointed lodges with the hot tub being the ultimate luxury. David & Felicity are great hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Hiring of bikes was simple, well organised and at a great price. Be aware that the trek up to High Peak trail is steep but worth it. Would definately recommend to one and all.

Delighted you enjoyed your stay exploring our beautiful countryside - I agree it's a steep walk up the hill, but the views are stunning and once you're on the trail it's level walking. Thanks for recommending Hoe Grange

Absolutely superb caravan and wonderful hosts. The peace and tranquillity was incredible and it’s not every day you get awakened by free range chickens. Totally loved the experience and looking forward to returning again. Many many thanks

I can’t fault the accommodation or setting for my mini break! As a wheelchair user with complex needs (including hoist user) I was naturally anxious about turning up somewhere new. Our Rainster cabin was not only brilliant, with profile bed, hoist and wetroom but also spotless and cosy. They’ve thought of everything - from salt n pepper in the cupboard to thoughtfully placed books and magazines! Felicity and David kindly came to my poor circulation rescue with two hot water bottles after discovering a packing mix up! The shop was a lovely addition and provided us with fresh eggs each morning. Seeing the horses and cows trot passed our kitchen window in the morning was a dream. Will definitely return and recommend!

My wife and I have just returned from one of the best holidays we've ever had (and we've been on a few over the past 60 or 70 years). With two of our grandchildren (aged 12 and 9), we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. The location is idyllic, the log cabin ("Daisy Bank" in our case) has everything you could wish for, and the hosts - David and Felicity - couldn't be more accommodating. They have, quite literally, thought of everything down to the very last detail - our granddaughter even remarked on how beautiful the soap smelled, as well as being (like everything else at Hoe Grange) eco-friendly. There's also so much to see, do and enjoy in the locality. On the day it rained, we had a fantastic time at the Deception Escape Rooms in Matlock. When the sun shone, we hired bikes (highly recommended) from Middleton Top and cycled the High Peak Trail to Parsley Hay and back. We can't wait to return with our grandchildren... and my wife might even bring one of her horses along with us next time.

Sounds like you had some fantastic family fun! We want our holiday cabins to be a real home from home and it's great to hear you had everything you needed. The eco handmade soaps from local business Coconut Blush are always popular! We would love to welcome you all back again and even better if your wife brings her horse along too - we have some fantastic off-road riding routes to explore.
