Detailed Reviews
We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here as our anniversary treat. The caravan is lovely and cozy. It had everything you needed for a night away. Fire pit, logs, pots pans etc were all included. We really enjoyed chilling on the outdoor bean bags and watching the cows in the field in front of the caravan. The view is amazing! Toilet/shower room was spotless and it was handy to be able to access a fridge. Friendly hosts on arrival and showed us everything we needed. The chocolate lab was lovely and joined us for dinner. She knew the minute food was served as turned up out of nowhere! Would recommend and would stay again. Hand sanitizers were provided and everything was spotless and additional measures had been added.

We enjoyed two nights in the Rosehip Gypsy Caravan and we cannot fault our stay. We were welcomed by David on arrival who showed us down to Rosehip and let us know all we needed to know.
Rosehip is a traditional Gypsy Caravan, but with modern comforts - comfy bed, thick duvet, hot water bottles, wifi, usb charging ports and lighting running off a battery system. Added touches such as the delicious biscuits on arrival, locally roasted coffee, pint of milk in the old fashioned glass bottle and a home baked loaf of bread; were all greatly appreciated.
Rosehip comes with access to a private toilet and wet room, along with kitchenette area with microwave, kettle and fridge. In the van is all the pots and pans you need.... seriously nothing hasn’t been thought of!
We enjoyed nights by the woodee fire pit, we even managed to rustle up a lovely steak dinner! All the wood etc is provided. We used the pizza oven on night two which was really fun and delicious! My advice is just be a bit more forceful with the paddle than you think you should! Also expect a friend to join you! Twix the dog was straight down as soon as smelt the cooking!! She was adorable and so behaved, lovely company.
Offsite this is a great base for days out, we went to the Heights of Abraham, Go Ape and Carsington Water.
The only negative I could give is that our time went too quickly! We will definitely be back, perhaps earlier in the year when the days are a bit longer and warmer..... sleeping with the sun on my face sat on the beanbag was blissful!!!
Thank you Felicity and David for your hospitality, we will treasure our stay and hope we can come again.

Whilst you should have been in Bora Bora we are delighted Rosehip was a delightful, magical substitute. Plenty more adventurous activities to enjoy on your next stay and we look forward to welcoming you back next year.

Three nights in the beautifully restored Rose Hip gypsy caravan was just perfect...set on its own with stunning views across the fields of sheep, great bean bags to lounge on next to the fire pit and hot water bottles to warm the comfy bed at night...haven't slept so well for years! Just across the farm yard, for your sole use, is the warm and clean shower room, toilet and kitchen with everything you need - fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. For an extra relaxing treat It is definitely worth hiring the hot tub for the evening! Take a bottle of wine and stare at the stars. One of the many highlights of our stay has got to be the vintage tandem bike that you can hire and with easy access to the High Peak Trail at the back of the farm it was excellent fun. David, Felicity, the dogs, horses and all the chickens made us feel very welcome and we can't wait to go back again. For a holiday away from everything I can't recommend Hoe Grange Holidays enough!

Thank you Jane - you are not the first person to say that they have had the best nights sleep ever in our cosy little caravan! Our tandem is so much fun - although David says it is very noisy as I shout for him to slow up down the hills! Rosehip will shortly be tucked away in the shed for the winter but we look forward to welcoming you back next year.

We stayed in one of the pods, Swallow, for a 2 night get away in October. The place is amazing, so peaceful and quiet. All COVID-19 restrictions are in place. The owners welcomed us wearing a mask, social distance was kept. The pod is very well equipped, there’s literally everything you might need + as welcoming gift there is a fresh home made loaf of bread, cranberry cookies, delicious coffee (which is brewed specially for the farm and which you can buy in their shop to take home later), and some washing set gift in the bathroom. One of the evenings we used the hot tub as well which is better to book in advance, but we were lucky enough and booked it on the arrival for the following evening. This is paid additionally but def worth doing it as star gazing from tub is something beautiful. If you think it’s getting too cold to go there now, that’s not true. The heating in the pod works perfectly well and I even got too warm one of the nights (which doesn’t happen very often ;)
All in all We can’t wait to go back there again as it was our first glamping experience and it didn’t let us down!

We stayed for a night in one of the cabins . The cabin was spotless and very well equipped , lots of extra touches were added like fresh eggs and bread . The views around the cabin were breathtaking and it was so peaceful . Felicity was very welcoming and allowed to to have a late check out as no body was due to come into the cabin the day after us which was very appreciated . We would highly recommend a stay here !

Had a lovely 3 night break. The cabin was exceptionally well equipped with lots of space and we especially enjoyed the use of a dish washer! We also took our horses who immediately relaxed in the fields provided. There was a secure tack room for our horses kit and also the use of the stables which was perfect to escape the sun on those hot days. The location is stunning. We cannot wait to go back!

What a great place. Delicious welcome basket with homemade bread, local butter and fresh eggs etc. We took our horses, and the hacking out had straightforward routes and lovely views. Our horses were in the field in the morning when we woke up and could see them thrugh the windows of our glamping pod. The pod itself was very civilised with a kitchenette, bathroom and sofa bed. Felicity and david were very welcoming Thanks for havig us!

We loved having you to stay and I enjoyed riding out with you - horses seem to settle really quickly when they arrive and there are plenty more riding routes for you to explore when you come back again! Thanks for leaving everything clean and tidy both in the glamping pods and the stables.

We stayed in Rose Hip, a gypsy caravan, for 4 nights including our wedding anniversary. This was a surprise holiday for my wife who has always had a thing about gypsy caravans.
We had a warm welcome from hosts Felicity and David and some good provisions to get us started. They were also very helpful throughout our stay.
The caravan is in an idyllic setting with great views and offers seclusion, tranquillity and privacy, being away from the other accommodation on the farm. Covid and Brexit felt a million miles away whilst on this holiday.
Evenings were spent sitting around Woodee the log burner.
Across the farmyard we had our own dedicated kitchen with microwave, kettle and fridge, and a high class spacious shower room with sink and WC.
Hoe Grange is a marvellous location for exploring the Peak District.
We loved this holiday so much we've already re-booked for a week in June 2021.

I stayed here with my husband in the skylark pod, and my parents stayed in the swallow pod. We were trying to socially distance a little so it was ideal as we were able to holiday together whilst having our own spaces.
The pods are really cleverly designed with modern heating and electronics, and the bathroom is spacious and with quite a good shower. The farm was lovely and peaceful and we had the occasional sheep or chicken that wandered up to the door!
Lovely touches like fresh eggs and nice toiletries. We rented the pizza oven one night which was amazing!
Would love stay again and absolutely would recommend.

+1
A last minute booking turned out to be such a lovely little break. Perfect, serene location. The pinder cabin (caters for up to 6 guests) we stayed in had everything you could possibly need and was immaculate. It felt like a little home away from home, but still in a holiday bubble.
After a day of activities in the local area, it was lovely to return to the cabin and relax in the hot tub looking over the fields with horses and sheep in the idyllic backdrop. Felt safe and comfortable after lockdown restraints - no concerns at all.
Perfect amount of privacy and David and Felicity are never too far away if you need anything.
A truly lovely place to experience.
Thank you very much for having us and we will definitely look to return in the near future.
Ps good luck with your Visit England Award 2020! Fingers crossed for you :-)
