A beautiful property with expansive grounds on which are several unusual artfully carved huge trees! Also, a lovely pool and hot tub. The owner, Laura, was absolutely charming and warmly eager to assure our comfort. The house is elegant and historic. We were served an exceptional, delicious breakfast with freshly baked croissants and other French style offerings-presented in a romantic setting. Truly one of the best bnb’s we’ve experienced and will love to return. Thank you , Laura!
I stayed two nights at Lee Farm. The house is magnificient with lovely, warm and comfortable rooms. From the bedroom to the sitting room to the breakfast room - everying was more than inviting. The grounds are gorgeous and private and then of course the owners were more than pleasant and accomodating. I hope that I am able to return to this beautiful place of rest and comfort.
Stayed here during a quick trip into Quebec from Vermont. Very cozy historic bed and breakfast . Michelle and Remi were very nice hosts. Michelle gave us a tour of the home which was built in 1810. We had a very nice room and comfortable bed . Breakfast was delicious . Special shout out to Max the Irish setter. Would love to visit again.
A beautiful B&B in a magical setting. Our hosts, Remy and Michelle, were incredibly kind and accommodating. Our room was perfect, scrupulously clean, and could not have been more comfortable. The meals were impressive and delicious. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and the lovely little town of Stanstead. I wholeheartedly recommend Domaine Les Boises Lee Farm, and would absolutely stay there again. Thank you, Remy and Michelle!
Came across this property when researching a vacation in the Eastern Townships. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed varied and nicely presented breakfasts with good coffee each morning. The Eleanor room was comfortable and the balcony offered a lovely view over the well landscaped grounds. Remy and Michelle gave us some tips on what to see, which turned out to be great. Their hospitality was much appreciated. There was a kettle for self-serve tea near the entrance, but I couldn't figure out how you could have made coffee, although it was mentioned. The house was nicely kept, and there were no signs of "don't do this or that" that we have seen in some B&Bs. The hosts are experienced and relaxed! Congrats on a job well done!
Absolutely loved our stay here, very clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast excellent. Michelle and Remi are wonderful hosts. The interior of the home is remarkable as are the grounds with beautiful gardens.
We stayed one night in the room Eleonor. The room was very nice. I loved the balcony. Our hosts were nice and helpful giving us tips on where to eat. If you get here during the Septemberfest be sure to go. We loved it and if you're lucky enough to meet Bob and Joanne you will have one of your best evenings ever.
This is an exceptional stop minutes from the Vermont border for travelers to Montreal or Quebec. The rooms are large and beautiful. Breakfast is great. Remi and Michelle are truly gracious hosts. This was one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at.
This B&B is everthing you would want from a small rural town Quebec B&B: the beautiful large grounds surrounding the home adding to the general tranquility of the spot; the wonderful pool area (not in use when we were there after Labour Day); the rambling old wooden house immaculately kept; the charming and cosy interior decorated in a manner that evoked its heyday a hundred years earlier; the excellent breakfast; the quality of the guests (quiet and respectful but willing to engage in conversation if no language barriers); and the gracious, friendly and professional host and hostess, Remi and Michelle. (If you are an avid cyclist, speak to them, they both are). Our room, the Eleanor, was very large although with all the agreeable period type furniture and huge, comfortable bed, not spacious in the sense of lots of room to walk around. It provided all the elements needed in terms of hanging clothing and drawer space and surfaces on which to put things. There was a night table and light each side of the bed. The bathtub/shower occupied all the space of a former closet (I think) but we didn't use it (swam in lake Memphramegog); the toilet and sink were in a small but easily used space. Everything was immaculate. My only suggestion would be to only use the ceiling fan on low speed (the power is controlled by a slightly hidden switch beside the door into the room) as it may squeak and rattle at higher speeds; put one of the flower boxes on the charming smallish balcony under the A/C unit to catch the dripping water so you don't find your balcony wet in the morning (as did we). Also I couldn't figure out the A/C unit fan control so it was always on high speed if on which like all these units is noisy. But none of these things in any way detracted from the pleasure we took in being at this gracious place. Tremendous value for what you pay (we paid $125 per night plus taxes). The love and dedication Remi and Michelle have shown for this gem is reflected in the excellence of this old house and its grounds.…
How does one write about the perfect escape? We drove from Plymouth, MA to Stanstead to acquire a new puppy from a local breeder and decided to stay 2 nights for a mini vacation. What we found at Domaine Les Boises Lee Farm was beyond expectation. Restoration of an historic home with modern features added in. Clean comfortable settings. We hade a room with a balcony on which we sat and read in the afternoon. Wonderful comfortable furnishings. Gourmet breakfast. Well maintained grounds with a beautiful pool and gardens. And most of all, gourmet breakfasts prepared and served by Michelle and Remi the charming and engaging innkeepers. We hope to visit there again in the future!
