My wife and I took a day trip to Palombaro to learn a little about where her ancestors came from. It was intended to be a "seen it, done it" type of visit. By the time it was all said and done, the day trip turned into a lovely and intense three day stay, with plenty of sight seeing, socializing... More

We have been to the hotel many times, sometimes just for drinks and on other occasions for meals - lunch on Christmas Day and the New Year's Eve dinner & dance were both fantastic! It is a great place to meet friends - both ex-pats and people from the village - it is always busy and has a great atmosphere.... More

Having been to the hotel many times for meals, drinks and special occasions we cannot for the life of us understand all the negative comments from those people in Rome! Maybe they had an axe to grind about something!!. Anyway there is nothing wrong with the hotel - there can't be - all the locals use it plus any x-pats... More

What a wonderful spot and what a wonderful hotel, made better by the warm welcome of Pat. I spent a week in Palombaro, skiing at Roccaraso with my two teenage sons. We spent a lot of our evening time in the hotel bar, drinking beer and wine and eating fantastic food prepared by a newly recruited chef, top draw! The... More

We spent three days with Patricia and her staff at Hotel Vittoria in Palombaro. From the moment of our arrival until the time of our departure we were treated like royalty. Our room was clean, comfortable, had a full bath, and a wonderful view of the amazing Abruzzo landscape of green fields, olive groves, vineyards and snow capped mountains. Patricia... More

This is one of the best things to have happened in the lovely town of Palombaro for sometime. The hotel is centrally located with very comfortable rooms, swimming pool, friendly helpful staff that speak Italian and English. The bar is welcoming and plenty of room to sit outside to watch village life go by. Great views from the rooms and... More
