I am reviewing only the meal since were staying in Fara San Martino. What a treat! We visited on a mid-winter evening celebrating some friends 50th wedding anniversary. We were happy to have a fire going in the wide fireplace as we came in. We knew that, by law, Agriturismos grow or make the majoriy of what they serve, but...

The Uliveto is a most wonderful agriturismo (with a real family atmosphere), set in beautiful countryside - we have just been for our third visit and can't wait to return. The host family go out of their way to ensure guests are comfortable and well looked after; if you opt for half board: the food is delicious and home made....

The agriturismo was called L'Uliveto at Palombaro in the province of Chieti, Abbruzzo. The view from our room was spectacular view of the mountains and valleys of Abbruzzo. The food was all grown and raised on premises, including homemade pastas, cheeses, cordials and wines. It was all delicious and plentiful and the owners were pleasant, obliging, and fun. Our room...

We didn't stay at L'Uliveto as we were staying nearby, but we had some fantastic evenings there. The food was local, authentic, delicious and at a great price. They produce most of the ingredients themselves and it shows - such variety. Would heartily recommend to everyone!

Beautiful spot with friendly people and good food. We were lucky that family who live nearby suggested L'Uliveto and arranged a family dinner there during our stay. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The views are incredible, olive groves (thus the name) and the nearby mountain, Maiella. Our dinner was fantastic, very traditional and local foods. We had two appetizer...

During January, my family and I stayed at the lovely Agriturismo L'Uliveto for six nights as part of our four week 'family pilgrimage' around Italy. This very friendly and welcoming little agriturismo is located in a picturesque, olive-groved Abbruzzese valley at the foot of the majestic, snow-capped Maiella Mountain. It's surrounded by numerous fascinating little, medieval hilltop towns such as...

We stayed for four nights at the beginning of November and despite being the only people there we were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and as important had heating when we needed it in the evenings. All the family were very friendly and Antonella cooked a delightful meal for us, on our last night,...

We were staying here mid October for a friend's wedding and the whole experience was great! Our friend booked for us and I was pleasantly surprised by the neat and tidy room and the host and family were lovely. My friend had a dinner for 50+ there on the first night and the food was great. I have a severe...

Our family recently enjoyed 4 wonderful nights at the L'Uliveto. We were in Abruzzo to visit Palombaro, the town where my husband's grandparents were born before emigrating to the US. The location of L'Uliveto is excellent, near to the village of Palombaro and several other small interesting towns. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was much appreciated...
