We spent one night in this hotel. We felt humiliated The price was kind of too high for a 2 stars hotel anyway we reserved. There was no option for elevator to the second floor and we had to carry our large suitcases through the stairs The matress was the worst we have slept on, for years The curtain in the shower is not really a way to stop the water from being spelt over the whole floor - even "a half a star" hotels are using glass walls to do it. Look for another hotel to spend the night
This quiet hotel is ideally situated for an overnight stop when travelling on the A5 as it is right alongside the motorway, but is not suitable for those without their own transport as the nearest railway station is 2km away down a country road, half of which does not have a pavement, and busses to the stop 200m away are infrequent and do not run after 6.30 p.m. or at all on Sundays. The staff are efficient, friendly, and cheerfully helpful, but their knowledge of English appears to be very limited, their language of choice being French. Those of you who have used Premier Inns will know the sort of thing to expect - an en suite room with a king-size double bed, space to hang your clothes, a settee, chair and table. The TV is slightly smaller than PI ones and there are no tea-making facilities. However, the bar on the ground floor is open 24/7. As far as I am aware there is no lift to the upper floor. The continental style breakfast is taken in the light and airy dining room adjoining the bar, but there is no cooked food, although facilities exist to boil eggs or bake waffles. The hotel literature says that a very limited range of hot snacks are available 24/7, but I did not verify this. There is a computer available to guests provided they understand French. All in all this is a quite suitable hotel for an overnight stop when in the Neuchatel area.…
We stayed there just one night,it was our long trip though all Switzerland , and we were totally satisfied with this hotel. It’s clean. A bit far from the city center , but it was no problem for us,we traveled with our car.Thank You very much for helping with our map.
No-Thrills business hotel slightly too far outside of Neuchatel. Rooms are okay. Breakfast is ok. Nothing to complain but also nothing to write home about. Breakfast is the same as all the rest maybe it's a little overpriced.
the hotel is a standard one , average level but it's quiet and clean Bed is comfortable and we could relax, if you arrive late and tired you can find rest. Did not enjoy breakfast as 20 (or even more) CHF seem to me too much for the usual Ibis-breakfast
The hotel lives up to others in its category. The room is serviced, clean and acceptable. Breakfast is also good - you can expect a range of products for a continental breakfast with added scrambled egg. The hotel location is good just to the east of Neuchatel and easily car accessible. The downsides are that the parking can be a bit tight. And there is no possibility of evening meal - try the restaurant across the street or one in town. That said, you can get a pint and relax in the lounge.
Basic accommodation with very pleasant and attentive staff. Being used to air conditioning, the lack of such made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. A hot season visit was difficult..A fan would have been welcome. Enjoyed my coffee and croissant each morning on outside patio
This hotel is located in some industry zone. The heating in the room is not sufficient. The room is not warm at all. Next, it costs a boom to get a taxi to go for business meeting around the area. It is better to stay in Nauchatel.
The hotel is located away from Neuchatel, so a car is needed if you want a dinner. This is an Ibis hotel, so the menu is limited. The room and bathroom is clean and specious. A bit dated, but all is functioning perfectly. The staff is friendly and correct. The breakfast is good.
Our room was spacious and clean. No coffee in the room but was available at the bar in reception. Free Wifi. Good restaurant over the road from hotel. Parking was good, and staff were helpful. Swimming pool in garden area.
