Stayed here for one night whilst hopping on and off the Bernina railway line. It was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our week long trip! The location is just stunning, the room was beautiful and the staff very friendly. They have an extensive dinner menu - which was slightly pricey but delicious! Breakfast was great with...

Had a wonderful dinner with local food at this place. The boss is the Chef too and his wife is running the service crew. We had Pizzoccheri and game from the region. It has been a wonderful evening. The wine list is very large and the choice of regional wines is impressive. We will be back as soon as possible....

We stopped here whilst walking on the Bernina Pass. It was a lovely sunny day so we sat on the terrace enjoying the views but the restaurant with it's wood panelled style is also lovely. We had roesti and salad - both were very good. The service was good. The hote also looked very nice and I would consider coming...

Excellent place! Short drive from St. Moritz. Lovely wood everywhere inside. Our room on the second floor had a loft that our preteen saw, went crazy for and immediately moved into. The pumpkin soup was the best I've ever had. The food was presented in a true gourmet fashion. We had dinner there both nights! If you stay two nights,...

I stayed at the Gasthaus before the Engadin Ski Marathon. I arrived by train and since the first train on Sunday was only at 9am, the hotel manager made an extra effort to find me a ride (at 6am) with the other hotel guests. Nice cosy rooms and the restaurant offers a very good cuisine and very friendly staff.

I've lived in Switzerland for 15 years and travelled a lot around the country with my Mother and Father on their frequent visits but to be honest I was running out of ways to impress them - but we stayed here in 2014 and it was a truly memorable experience. The dining room is very cosy and traditional, (seem to...

First I must mention they only accept cash, no credit cards. The rooms are nicely furnished and the internet very good. It is located out of town which makes this place very quiet. The train stops directly across the street every hour and there is also a bus stop which makes public transportation very possible. The restaurant is good and...

We were at Berninahaus between seasons (May--neither ski or summer seasons) so the hotel had very few guests at the time and the main dining room was closed. Our very accommodating host made certain that we knew what dining options we had nearby. Breakfast was still offered, however. This inn dates back 500 years and has been beautifully restored and...

The rooms were well-furnished and the beds very comfortable. The owner of this hotel is very friendly, he gave us a lot of helpful advice about things to do in the area. The food was really good. All in all a good trip and a shame we only stayed there for one night.

Excellent place in stunning location The Gasthaus Berninahaus – even if it is easily reached either by car/bike or public transport (train station across the street, the famous “Bernina line” – an UNESCO World Heritage site - and bus stop in front of the house) – is in a remote mountain location and an idyllic place to spend a relaxing...
