Primarily we undertook the family travel to give our 83 year old mother a break from the confinement she was undergoing since March 2020 at home due to COVID-19 lockdown. It was a spur of the moment type of a plan, which we zeroed down to Tatva Tents and Hotels at Bir, Himachal Pradesh.
We were five of us and so booked the Maharani Tent for three nights. It has 2 interconnected rooms with separate washrooms, separate wardrobe area, and TV in both rooms along with other amenities and a private lawn. Neatness and hygiene at the property was fully up to the mark and at par with the set COVID-19 precautions to be undertaken.
Tatva Bir Tents and Hotels have a great scenic location. Our stay was very pleasant and relaxed. Food was superb. We found both the staff to be cooperative and helpful. Being at Bir and not doing Paragliding would have been a loss for us. Hence, the second day with mother staying back at the tent rest of us went for paragliding. Thanks to Tatva Bir, it was a flawless and amazing experience.
Even though we didn’t get to meet Suresh (the property belongs to him and his wife), we were in touch via conversations over phone and messages. He ensured we were well looked after. Thank you Suresh for the generous and lovely hospitality extended to us. It sure made our stay a worthy and memorable one. We look forward to visiting you sometime soon.

The property is situated right at foothill of billing. Location is so perfect that it gives the perfect view of sunrise and sunset along with majestic view of hills. Also at just walkable distance is the flowing water stream where you have a lovely time.
The luxury tents are spacious, with attached bathroom which has running hot water too....
The tents are also facilitated with heater to provide you warmth during winters.
Nice open garden sitout where you can enjoy the view of paragliders. Also a very beautiful bonfire place where you can have your party time with your loved ones.
Hats off to Chef for providing mouthwatering and tasty food specially Jain. The service is also very good along with soft and helpful staff... The staff is well aware about the region and guides you to perfection. There is a guide also who can take you for a lovely trek through the beautiful hills just behind the property.
Also to free your hands a bit is by playing Table tennis which is situated right next to dinning area.
6-7 car parking facility also available.

Amazing stay, and tasty food. The service was good and the view is also really nice as we can see paraglider flying above us. the management took care of sanitisation and all the necessary precautions were being taken. Would love to come again

Had a comfortable stay. The resort has been impeccably designed with the rooms facing the open lawn with a nice view of the mountains. The owners have renovated the property in a way which gives a homely feeling and the very first impression was very positive. The food was excellent. Will rate it 10 out of 10 and would again like to come back to refresh our memories.

Tatva Bir, the place of peace and heaven. When I went to Himachal, I stay in Tatva Bir resort. The resort is so beautiful in the location, where I enjoy the beauty of the heavens. The facility of the resort is good. The bed is a stubby and smooth, fully comfortable washroom and bathrooms. From my window a beautiful simply heaven view. The area of the resort is not contaminated by any garbages, fully refreshing air, and the best place for stay and hiking.

We enjoyed staying in both the properties at Tatva Bir, the Resort and the Tent. Best part is the hospitality provided by the Management along with the staff, the feeling is at home like, we enjoyed the food the most, homemade. Cleanliness is at its best. It was fun tracking to nearby lush green forest & places. Its like you are in the lap of Mother Nature. Morning time we could hear & see lot of birds chirping, soothing our ears & eyes. Last but not the least, these properties are near the International Paragliding site, hardly 15 km away. We also enjoyed the Snowfall. It’s really value for Money. Boarding and lodging in Tatva Bir Tents and Hotel in Bir is like a dream. The place is located in the lap of Nature. Neat and clean lodging in the tents gives a different joy of living. The flowery lawns around are fine and full of sweet fragrance. A rich variety of Rare flowers is visible here and there and everywhere within the forewalls. The Boarding facilities being provided here are praiseworthy. The service charges here are Far Cheaper than the valuable services being provided to the staying guest. Above all thanks to the Renaut family consisting of Mr. Suresh , Mrs. Aruna and the great mother of Mr. Suresh who is a gentle as well as a saintly lady. The sweet memories of our stay in the lap of Nature will rest in our minds for all times to come.

Before I write this review I must mention that I have travelled all over the world with family , alone , for business and for holidays . What is your major concern and expectations from the resort,hotel when you plan the trip I hope everyone likes to have peace of mind , no botheration and enjoyment along with good food All this comes by default when you stay at TATVA BIR .we were 14 people and were fully prepared for our NEW YEAR celebrations but as you know a group of 14 people from the age of 14 to 45 will have certain expectations to be meet out specially when you are on holidays . Guys believe me the team of TATVA delivered it all . This is the place one should go if going with family and friends . Place gave us a very cozy and comfort stay…. Must say, the chef was amazing at making Jain food…. We did not have a single meal outside…. Didn’t want to miss a single chance of delicious jain food.
