If you want a really cozy, comfortable stay while camping, CBB Bir is The place to go.Â
From A to Z it was a surprise, what to talk about the Swiss tents loaded with comfort and warmth on the winter night of 29th December that we all visited.Â
We dropped our own car near Monkey Camp at Sansal Road near Bir, from where we were picked up by the vehicles of CBB.,since the last about 2 km patch is quite tricky .
Once we reached, it was all an existence in heaven ,what with the warmly heated tents, spick and span, cute looking, the scene through the Window was mesmerising.Â
The evening was dotted by bonfire lit in their Courtyard. The 150 year old Himachal house had been retained in its basic structure, adapted throughout by the modernised necessities.Â
Kitchen looked so hygienic and modernised, yet the ancient culture was preserved on the whole.Â
The deliciously prepared soup added a flavour to that unforgettable evening around the bonfire, and later enriched by the sumptuous dinner served in their dining area,in the ethnic Himachali style.Â
Rain Gods smiled at the appropriate time when we were already snuggled up in our cosy electrified beds and with the AC turned at 24. The sound of the rain on the tents was itself heavenly.Â
Great experience, not to be missed if you are fond of travel and stay with a marked difference.!
A big salute to the conceptualisation and implementation thereof by the Owner Mr.Atul, a Himachali, who with all his humility and politeness can't be really connected as being the owner of such a unique camping resort. Hats off !!! CBB BIR That's the place to go to !!!!

We recently concluded a wonderful 5 day trip with 2 days spent in Amritsar and 3 in Bir Billing in Himachal. The soothing Shabad Kirtans at the incomparable Sri Harmandir Sahib Golden temple and inspiring BSF at the Wagah border ceremony interspersed with delectable dhaba food comprised our Amritsar trip. Stay was at the comfortable Welcomhotel Raja Sansi with a lovely breakfast and a game of badminton thrown in during our stay. The only spoiler was the stubble burning we saw all over the city outskirts outskirts that needs emergency attention.
And then we headed to Camp Bir Billing, a luxury glamping site, clearly one of the highest stay places in Bir for tourists by a distance with breathtaking views of the Valley and the Dhauladhar mountain ranges. A elegantly designed property with all amenities, home style food and a staff (including trek guides that give you a close peek in the local life) who cannot say no! The paragliding experience was Wow and smooth as butter. We all wanted to go for longer flights that go over the mountain ranges the next day, but November season does not provide the thermal currents to do so.
Bir Billing has a youthful vibe with some interesting cafes nearby to the landing site. But while we did go to a couple of those, if you have to make your trip memorable, you have to savour the impeccacle hospitality and fireside conversations with Atul Katoch, the owner-manager and amazing homestyle snacks and meals that you cannot have enough of at CBB. Camp Bir Billing and Parasailing pair wonderfully for a perfect Bir trip!

The road to reach camp bir billing is scarry, completely broken so the start was a bit shaky. But once you reach up, the warmth of the people just make you feel at home. Atul, the partner at the hotel was a great help and caring. Bhanu their chef cooks some GREAT food. They Puri bhaji and Rajma and some of their local foods is a must try! Dint get as good puri bhaji in any other place in HP. The tents are very luxurious, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were a big surprise, got water via a solar heater even at 645am. You should ask for tents with a good view, not all tents have a good view. The place unfortunately does not have a lot of running place or activities for the kids. Atul also arranged for paragliding for my 5 year old and he had a blast - he went twice! Would surely recomend this place for anyone going to billing. Stay 3 nights just for the food.

This is a must visit place in Bir! Tucked just 4kms away from the city, this magical place has everything you need for a quite peaceful and luxurious stay. Right from the time to checkin, you are greeted with a traditional welcome drink and the staff is super courteous from the get go. The food is mind blowing and is prepared as per order daily, making it fresh. The chef, Mr. Prince has got magic in his hands. The Rajma Madra (a Himachali delicacy) is highly recommended . The owners Mr Atul & Mr Balwant are at the property always making it very convenient for you to get what you want. They are super helpful and are highly involved in daily operations. Mr Atul organised bonfires daily, which got all the residents together and filled the evenings with laughter and conversations. He was fine enough to lead us to a night trek which ended with us Star Gazing. The property is located on top of a hill, and hence there is pitch silence. It is conducive for a WFH vacation as the property has excellent wifi all over In a 10 day trip to Himachal, this leg of the trip - stay at Camp Bir Billing, was undoubtedly the highlight :) Highly recommended!

It was a wonderful experience during my visit to Camp Bir Billing. I had never visited Bir- Billing before. One of my friends suggested to stay at Camp Bir Billing . Atul Katoch ji, the owner of Camp Bir Billing is a wonderful person and when I reached his site, it was not less than a heaven. It provides a wonderful and amazing site of Bir downwards there. The hospitality provided to us was just out of this world and the night accommodation in form of Swiss tents have got all the facilities which we expect in a 5 star hotel... I don't have any words to describe the amazing experience we had there..... Must visit place when you are visiting Palampur or Dharamshala side of Himachal Pradesh......

Absolute pleasure to visit and stay at Camp Bir Billing. If one wants to experience actual travel, away from the hustle bustle of a typical tourist town, Camp is where you go. The property is secluded but feels safe. The tents are cosy, well furnished and extremely comfortable. There's hot water and bed warmers to keep the cold away.
The food is absolutely amazing and prepared fresh. The dining area is very well designed, it gives you an authentic local vibe and the food carries that flavor too.
The caretaker and cook are fantastic people and are quick to help and indulge.
We had stayed near the landing site for a couple of days and visited the cafes around. Though fun we felt like we're in middle of Delhi with the food and ambience. Camp Bir Billing was where we finally settled in and experienced the most stunning Bir and Billing sunsets. I will heartily recommend this if you want a different dimension to your trip to Bir.

On top of the world location, with an amazing view, the food was gorgeous, service was prompt and caring. The campfire at night with rainbow trouts for dinner was an out of the world experience. The host Mr. Atul is a most gracious one and knowledgeable about the state and the world of paragliding. The tent experience was an amazing one as well. There are a few local walks, that are marked with arrows - wish we had taken one of the staff for more info on trees and birds. We recommend to all to try this amazing experience out there!
