The colonel and his wife took us in like family. Even though they had no rooms left they invited usnto spend time with them and their guests like we were staying there. The food was delicious and the activities the colonel took us out to were fun and revealing. Highlights were the Bon fire every night and the flying fox over the river.
We were made very welcome, truly as family and very well looked after. The Colonel took us on walks in the hills and round the little villages, wonderful. And chats with other visitors and the Colonel's charming wife round a bonfire in the evenings after a superb meal. We didn't paraglide, but went to see the others launch, very interesting.
