Parvatah is not just a hotel or a guesthouse, it is our way to pay tribute to the mighty peaks of the Himalayas and the rich cultures and traditions found there. Each & every corner of our property is designed and handpicked by us throughout our unforgettable journeys in the Himalayas. We have put our heart & soul in bringing together this project with the endeavor to create a unique stay experience for all our guests. Each room in Parvatah is named after a prominent mountain peak, which depicts our love for the people, culture & tradition of that area. The interior & décor is inspired by the magical high altitude areas around the majestic peaks of Everest, Annapurna, Nanda Devi & Kanchenjunga.

I loved the minimal tasteful decor of the rooms. The themes were well represented and the room was very cosy. They provided every possible help and amenitiy that we asked for even ear buds combs and other basics are provided for. Lots of tea cofee books a music system, heaters, great breakfast.

The host was very kind in accomodating all our eccentricities and we had a great time. Their rooftop is a star gazers dream. Highly recommended!

My only negative feedback is that breakfast is only served at 9am and I wake up much earlier. But they serve a ton of food with a lot of heart and there is a kettle in the room and diy tea/coffee is provided.

Parvatah is definitely one of the prettiest places I've come across to stay in the hills. It perfectly captures the essence of staying away from the city, yet keeping in mind all the amenities you would need. The host, Nitesh is one friendly soul, who is forever ready to make you feel at home! The meals that are cooked are delicious and they happily cook according to your preferences and choices. The rooms and the common area is exactly as shown in pictures and the entire place is spic and span. If you're lucky enough, you'll get to see an amazing night sky full of stars right from the rooftop (which is another happy part of this property). If you're thinking of visiting Bir, please go and give this place a try, you will never be disappointed!

Bir is one of my absolute favorite places for a quick getaway, although it has not caught on with the rapid commercialization, urbanization this little village has everything you will need. I and my wife decided to spend a few days at Bir during Holi on our holiday to India back in March, just before the lockdown.

Bir has a lot of options to choose from that suits every budget, accommodation at Bir can be widely grouped into following categories:
1. Hotels (Very few but available for all budgets and new one's coming up )
2. Hostels (Few and popular with budget travelers )
3. Homestays (Many and popular with budget travelers)
4. Boutique Homestay Hotel (few and available for all budgets): This category has been the most recent addition to accommodation at Bir

PARVATAH falls in category 4 and definitely on top of that list, it has four rooms that you can book from. Every room has been personally decorated and every item in the room has been carefully handpicked and adds to the overall character of the room. The rooms are spacious and have all modern facilities for you, including the bathroom which has a special surprise. There is a common space right outside the rooms for reading enthusiasts or if that is where you would like your morning tea, great place to meet people and make new friends. They also have a terrace on top with charming views and a café. The food is absolutely amazing and you can ask for local Himachali delicacies too, everything is made fresh in-house and they would be happy to prepare anything not on the menu if you let them know little in advance. The staff is very responsive and will have a very short lead time for any of your requests.

The property is 10min drive or 30min walk from the main landing site (heart of action) which is a Tibetan colony but it is next to Main Bir village on the way to Billing (launch site). It is a short walk away from the Main Bir village market where you can shop for amenities and other local artifacts.

Few things to be kept in mind if you are travelling to a homestay hotel like this and most other places in Bir is that you will be staying at somebody’s house and a few house rules will apply. This property sits on top of the owner’s house which has been leased out, but there are no other immediate houses next to it so you can fully enjoy the views. There is parking available next to the property but can be little tight if you have a bigger car and low maneuvering skills/capability, but then this is common across all properties in Bir. Parking on the road upfront is not an option but you can park on the main road 100mts away and it’s totally safe.

The place is hosted by Mr Nitish Dewan who is very friendly and will personally make sure that you have everything that you need and go out of his way if needed, his hospitality is second to none in Bir. I would completely recommend this property if you are looking for a home like getaway and staying in a hotel is not your thing.

Very comfortable beds (mattress and pillows), good amenities, they provide room heaters in the rooms, and extra blankets if required. All washrooms have water geysers and rain showers. Go with a mindset that you are going to some friends place, that is how there hospitality will be.

Most Hygienic rooms that I have stayed in, they are following all the covid protocols.

The new year celebration was fantastic.

Food is as fresh as possible and very tasty, we never felt like going out to other cafes.

Hospitality of the father son duo is very homely and comforting.

They planned our itinerary in a very customized way which made our overall experience memorable.

Parvatah is one of the most beautiful property we have been to. Every room has a name, meaning and artistically decorated, absolutely heart warming and cosy. Their roof top cafe ‘ara’s cafe’ serves one of the best cuisines in bir.. be it pasta, Himachali thali, or the large variety of breakfast they offer. We had trout fish which was one of the best we ever had. Nitish runs the place, however we were fortunate to be hosted by his dad who was a very interesting company and had amazing stories to share that gave us a flavour of local culture and people… had some great memories.. special shout out to the chef and the helper who have been at our service and took care of every single preference we had. Chef’s own recipes were a treat to our taste buds. If you are in bir.. it’s a must stay here.. creating some lovely memories that you will cherish for life..

A Beautiful start of 2021
So happy that we decided to celebrate New year in Bir in a exquisite boutique homestay 'Parvatah'
An aesthetic place in lap of the Bir valley. We had a wonderful stay for 3 days including the amazing new year party at their rooftop cafe 'Ara'.Although it was chilling but the bonfires lit at every corner made it a cosy affair.
Their rooftop is incredibly beautiful and was dazzling with lighting all around.
The new year night became special with the live singing event and the delicious buffet flavouring with 'Himachali cuisines '
Kudos to the team Parvatah for the superbly organized new year event.
Last but not the least, the view of the sunset from the terrace was breathtaking.
Thank you for making our new year so special

Cozy and comfortable....They have four rooms, each named after a peak in the Himalayas, I was assigned Annapurna, which had a mountain facing view. Artistically & tastefully done, had decorative pieces personally handpicked by the father-son duo who own this property. Washroom was clean with all amenities one can ask for, clean towels & linen.

Nitish runs the place, however we were fortunate to be hosted by his dad(Sunil Uncle) who had amazing stories to share that gave us a flavour of local culture and people. Was extremely helpful & took extra care to help out with arranging pickups/drops(early morning one too, as I had a marathon to attend) to main Bir(landing site), didnot feel like I was travelling solo.

The staff, Manu Bhaiya & Preetam Bhaiya cooked delicious himachali cuisine from freshly grown organic food. The Kangri dham is to die for!!!The food is served at their in-house cafe - Ara Cafe, which is another delight to sit & relax, enjoy the view

Overall, a wonderful experience & highly recommended , if you are visiting Bir

Parvatah is the perfect place to be. It has everything a perfect stay is made up of. Comfortable space, beautiful views, amazing hosts, absolutely delicious food, the warmest staff and Burffie (their dog). For me, properties that have dogs are usually a priority and so was the case for Parvatah. The hosts know the best places to visit and will help you experience Bir in the best way possible. Their cafe, Ara serves the most delicious food in Bir. You can order absolutely anything from their menu and you won't be disappointed. I loved my stay in Parvatah and would love to go back soon. Thank you, Nitish and Ishani for such wonderful memories.

We had the most wonderful experience at Parvatah. The rooms are elegantly furnished, and spotlessly clean. Excellent and sumptuous breakfast and food, we could order tea and snacks at all times. The staff is wonderful, and Nitish leads them all with humour, courtesy and enthusiasm. Right from cooking items out of menu, to suggestions for outings, taxi bookings, you name it and it was provided.
Not to forget the property is beautifully decorated and each corner has something unique and attracts you to get yourself clicked.
It is definitely a must visit resort and offers a lifetime memory to be cherished.
