Perfect hotel for one-night stay on our way to Austria. We arrived at 18.00, checked in and could have diner without reservation. Breakfest was as you may expect from germans: perfect full of choices.

Reception area is very small but personnel is friendly and they speak good english. They have about 6 parking spots, if not available then there are parking places nearby in easy walking distance. Good location, just 5 min walk to town. Stayed in a double room for single use with narrow tween beds and narrow quilts. Very very basic. Toiletries...

Stayed here with business for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ten location is superb and has bars and restaurants nearby. The breakfast is very good and has hot and cold items to choose from and a significant amount. The rooms albeit basic have everything you need, I just wish though in Germany they follow the British method and...

The hotel is very close to the centre of the city and the palace by the river. There is a small car park and cheap public parking just across the road. The hotel has an old inn at its heart but has been extensively modernised with air-conditioned rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed when we...

The rooms are a nice size with most of the standard amenities, there is breakfast included and it is a quaint old building. The cost of the room was slightly higher than a normal 3 star hotel but then again the quality is probably better. I'm marking it down as they shut the door at 11pm - if you get...

The staff were very good, friendly and prepared for all eventualities. The building itself is quite old and they did a great job of renovating and updating the rooms. Because of the nature of the building each room is a little different (not a uniform standard) having said that, the rooms themselves are very modern and kept very clean. The...

Our room was very comfortable decorated in a stylish contemporary way, with air con and a mini bar. The location is near the castle and there are limited parking spaces in the courtyard. The staff were friendly and all spoke good English. What really made this hotel stand out was its excellent restaurant. The food is a fusion of Franconian...

Extremely comfortable hotel around five minutes walk from the main station. Friendly staff and an excellent restaurant (worth reserving a table in advance). Can recommend the four-person room for families as kids get their own bedroom.

We stayed here just one night but were very satisfied. Nice small hotel, friendly, English speaking staff. Nice, clean rooms with well working free Internet. Also the breakfast was a good start of the day.

Thank Petr H

“As for a room closer to the first floor or you will walk up several flights of stairs.”

“The rooms have no air condition, but that`s anyhow not needed in Germany since the summer days are cold compare to Asia. For fresh air you can open the windows, since the air is really clean and fresh, compare to Asia. There are well functioning wall heating that makes the room warm in the winter time, which is much nicer compare to air condition heating in Asia. Some rooms are smaller, some bigger. Its up to what you need the room for. Just for sleep, the smaller rooms are fine. All rooms are clean and with a nice bath, TV and all what is needed. Toothbrush and paste is missing, which is a standard in Asia, all other such as wash lotion, shampoo, soup is free provided in the room.”

“A "Franzoisches Bett" is a queen size bed that is not two twins beds pushed together. They have some here, if you ask for one. Higher floors probably have less street noise.”

“We had rooms facing the courtyard, which were very quiet, but given the location, there are no "bad rooms" at this hotel.”
