I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms are clean and a good size. The room I was in overlooked the street and I got woken up a couple of times with deliveries, so if possible request an inside room. The breakfasts are buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold food. The hotel has two...

We spent five nights here on a railway themed holiday. The hotel is around a ten minute walk both from the railway station and the town centre. The rooms were of a reasonable size as were the bathrooms. They lacked coffee making facilites, a mini bar and a safe which we would have expected. The free wifi speed was poor but...

Long queue, one guy at the reception. It takes long time to check in , to check out ... You wait a lot at the elevators, are faster those you move with the rope still. Rooms are clean, notwithstanding old style or better no-style like the rest of the hotel inside. Breakfast with good choice of foode, nevertheless, the fresh...

I stayed here while visiting sites in the Harz with my family. This is a modern hotel and will not appeal to those seeking a charming, old half-timbered hotel. However, with two kids in tow, such options are often off the table, and we are seeking something that will fit all four of us comfortably. Breakfast is a bonus. This...

A note to English speaking travelers - Wernigerode was part of the old East Germany. As a result, you will encounter fewer Germans who speak English and are well informed about the West. That is not a problem, just be aware that you might need a translation app from time to time. This is an excellent property. It is fully...

We stayed at the hotel as part of a large group. The room was of good size, well appointment and clean with all the usual facilities. It was cleaned and serviced daily with friendly helpful staff. The food was excellent, breakfast buffet with every option you could wish, all well presented and of good quality. Evening meals were buffet self...

Stayed here with a coach party for 5 nights. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Food excellent, buffet style but so much choice, and freshly cooked. Room was very clean and comfortable. The situation of the hotel was just a short walk from the lovely square in the town.

Stayed 4 nights on a Great Rail trip. The hotel is very big compared to the town and may appear at bit conference-orientated at first but we loved it. The emphasis is on tour groups so there is a huge restaurant with splendid buffet food for breakfast and dinner. Despite the numbers being catered for, the quality is very high...

Stayed here with Great Rail journeys for 4 nights. Little did we know how spoilt we would be. Friendly quick check in and cases delivered quickly. The food was fantastic. Buffet style so much to choose from for breakfast and evening meals. Huge array of breads and salads. Can become boring but the meats and fish dishes change every night....

Travelling as part of a group, we stayed at the hotel during the German school holidays. There were a couple of German tour groups using the hotel at the same time and the evening meal times were staggered to deal with the large number of guests. The reception staff were welcoming and spoke very good English. The bedroom was comfortable...
