A lovely hotel set on the heavily wooded hillside on the road to The Danzturm at the top of the hill. The purpose of the visit is to see relatives who live in the town. Lovely and clean and bright hotel, well equipped rooms with walk in shower. Some rooms have small balconies, some with more generous spaces. We stayed...

Well, we lived in Iserlohn for over 20 years and we knew "Hotel Franzosenhohl" from hikes in the surrounding forest. When our friends recommended the place to stay we're kind of skeptical - but the surprise was even greater. How to start? The welcome at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was simply fantastic. WE never slep[...

We had an excellent overnight stay in this hotel. It is very modern and therefore lacks a little character, but is is very relaxing and enjoys a fabulous location in the forest. The Library that occupies the whole of the entrance hall is very impressive and adds an original 'twist' to the appeal of the hotel. I can understand how...

If you want a nice hotel in the forest with a great view you should select this. Fantastic location. Rooms big with big balcony. Friendly staff. Restaurant serves a good dinner. Got a tomato soup which was very tasty. Breakfast had all what you need. Very peaceful place and a lot of books for decoration. Sorry I only had one...

Most of the times I travel to Iserlohn this hotel is clearly my choice. Within the woods, the only sound you may hear from spring to autumn is the one from birds singing, maybe also the sound of tree leaves on windy weather. Although I prefer stronger pillows, rooms are spacious and with comfortable beds. Rooms include a working desk...

I've stayed many times in this hotel, and is my current choice in Iserlohn. The hotel is located in a bucolic scenery. It's a bit far from the city centre, but if you want to have a quiet time to relax and take a walk through the woods this is the place for you. Very comfortable beds and rooms. Free...

I stayed here once during a trip to Iserlohn. I was very pleased with my stay here. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed. Clean rooms. From what I remember, the rate was very reasonable. Usually when we travel to Iserlohn, it is in a group or with customers. For this reason, everyone wants to be close to the city...

Beautiful rooms with balcony and view of surrounding countryside. You will love the beds which have memory foam style mattresses for really comfortable nights rest. Upmarket restaurant supplying great food but closes on Sundays at 4 pm. We stocked mini bar and complimentary water. The spa is on the roof with outdoors and indoor seating, sauna, steam room. Very well...

What a great hotel. I stayed for 2 evenings earlier this month whilst on a business trip. The rooms are nicely decorated and well lit. Views were amazing from my balcony. Well stocked mini bar and complementary bottled water. The hotel reception is huge with seating areas for you to sit and read the vast array of books they have...
