We decided on Ibis as it was relatively cheap (44€ - 2 adults with baby) and was right on the way to our next destination. Check-in was quite simple but you need to be sure that you receive the door code from the hotel if you arrive outside of the reception hours. You can then use this code for the... More

This is one of your typical Ibis Budget Hotels. If you are traveling on a budget, those are the place to stay. The rooms are small, simple and clean. This one seems to be newly remodeled, therefore the interior looked still really nice. They must have changed their decor since they renamed this chain, and it looks fresher and more... More

Recently stayed at this hotel whilst travelling through the region located right next to the motorway exit with a petrol and mcdonalds next to the hotel. The hotel is clean and suitable as a one night stop over would not recommend any longer. The one issue I had with this the rooms air con is very poor had it set... More

I often stay there during those longer journeys. Close to the highway, quiet neighbourhood, plain but cosy rooms with separate space for toilet and shower. The air conditioning works just fine and brings some relief during hot nights :)

I often go to IBIS Budget hotels because they are cheap but this is the very first time I had a stay in a nice, clean and very up-to-date IBIS ( and not having that awful purplish looking color) and the beds were comfortable (often the case but there is one place we went to and it was soo hard!).... We booked a room at the ibis hotel in Genshagen last year when we were looking for a cheap, comfortable, clean and quiet place to sleep. Years ago we had been staying in other ibis hotels in France (back then the name of ibis was ETAP). As we got closer to the Genshagen ibis hotel we were wondering, whether the... More

Just off the highway. Check in simple and easy with helpfull staff. The room although small was clean and as the stay was just for overnight quite adequate for stop over on long journey through Europe. Breakfast selection was poor and not really value for money.

what you should expect for cost of room but vending machine should be regularly checked to maintain product availability, and more pillows would be good. staff communicated well in English, although no access to English speaking tv stations

As budget hotels go, you cannot fault Ibis Budget in Genshagen/Ludwigsfelde (Berlin). It is very conveniently located on the Berliner ring (A10), literally two minutes off the A10. The rooms are clean and tidy, the breakfast was decent, my only slight criticism would be not having a smoke-free zone in the hotel. Other than that, very pleased.
