We went there for dinner. We had no boking but we were offered a place. The food was just amazing. We had venison, which was very tender and tasty. Very friendly service. A big compliment to the kitchen!

Breakfast is very rich and tasty. The rooms are big enough for a family of five to live comfortably. Location is excelent for all attractions and you get the black forest (Red) card which can save you alot of money.

Owners were very kind and helpful, but a few of the wait staff (evening dinners) were cool and not so friendly or accomodating to basic requests. Found this place by chance. Traditionally German in every way. Outstanding food, excellent and efficient service and English was spoken. Run by a family called Wimmer who have created a magical get-a-way. Well done to all four of them plus their staff. Thank you so much. I really hope we can come and stay with you again on our next...

Stayed here one night after skiing at the nearby ski slopes. The accomodations were cozy. Breakfast was included. It's is right off the road and convenient to access.

So...we entered our destination into the GPS, and we started driving up, higher and higher. It started snowing, harder and harder. The trip is taking much longer than expected and the snow is getting deeper, so we decide we must stop. The only hotel around is the Adler. We trudge up with low expectations. Fortunately, they had a suite for...
