Really good location in the centre of the old town and close to everything worth seeing, and about 15 minute walk from the train station. For being right in the middle of things there was no issue with noise from the street. Staff were very friendly. The additional cost breakfast had a decent selection. Wifi signal was good. Room was...

The whole service of the hotel (rooms, breakfast, staff, location) is above average. Room was clean and spacious, moderate breakfast selection, very friendly staff and great location. There are few parking spaces on a private property in an inner courtyard near Schrottenberggasse street - ask at the desk for details. The only drawback is, paradoxically, the Bamberg Cathedral, or more...

This hotel has a seventies feel to it, but everything works and staff is friendly. Try to avoid the street side, since the bars in the street can be loud. Breakfast selection is modest, but of very good and fresh quality. No elevator, so be prepared to climb some stairs.

This hotel us located right in the old town. It is a strange assembly of buildings, rooms and annexes that (I suspect) have been subsumed as the business has grown. I visited with a friend for a beer-sampling weekend and we stayed in the two bedroom apartment. The room was basic but clean with a hotel-style kitchenette. The beds were...

no hard feelings: this hotel is "what you see is what you get". in the most crowded nightlife area of the town and not well isolated against the noise. rooms are simple, very basic indeed and although they are clean it seems all dirty cause it is so old and run down. breakfast is incl. and not too bad, but...

The hotel is situated on one of the main party streets of Bamberg. Therefore it is perfect of you want to be close to where the action is. And it is reasonably priced, too. Though it does not offer much in the way of amenities, the staff is really friendly and helpful.

Rooms are smaller than American hotels, but still nice and clean. Hotel staff very nice, as well as breakfast. Great view of the cathedral, although I didn't know the bells rang very loud and long in the morning.

we came to Bamberg to the annual Beer festival (Sandkerwa). we didn't book in advence so we were pretty lucky to get the last room at this hotel, when almost all hotel in the city were fully booked. it's located on the mane street, which for the festival was perfect - you're coming out from the hotel and you're literally...

We (a couple) needed a room for a few days but they only had apartments for the number of days we needed so we took it. It has a small kitchen w/ stove, refrigerator, sink, & dishes. Too bad we didn't need to use it. The apartment has two bedrooms, 1 toilet, & 1 shower. Breakfast was acceptable. Staff was...

The hotel is at least a half-hour hike from the train station, but you don't want to be staying by the train station in the gorgeous town of Bamberg. The hotel is located right next to the cathedral, with a grocery store about 10 minutes or so away. The most beautiful parts of the town are nearby, with bars and...
