We end up at hotel Scheffelhof after searching so many hotels to stay. Konstanz was full in these days. That will be THE reason for the expensive room. It's a very simple room. It's clean, they provide everything. Not nice and not cosy at all!! We can't sleep, because the room was hot. Only a fan in the room. We...

Stayed here for four nights with friends. The hotel does not have any parking, but there are public car parks nearby which are free from 8.00pm until 9.00am. The hotel, which is located above an Irish pub, has been refurbished recently and we found the rooms to be well furnished in a modern style and very clean. The hotel and...

Our family of 4 stayed in a room that was divided into two sections. It was of reasonable size but you probably would feel cramped after a few nights. The room was very clean, had a small but updated bathroom. The room had two windows and two fans, which helped because it was in the 80s when we were there....

A really fine value, the Scheffelhof guesthouse lies in tranquil, verdant surroundings, yet it was close to everything we wanted to see and do. It was even steps away from some excellent restaurants (just ask at the desk). Our top floor room was efficiently laid out, had plentiful storage, and a nice view. Breakfasts were good, fresh, and ample. Hospitable...

This hotel was in a great location! We had a family suite which included a loft with 2 twin sized beds. The bathroom was large, room was very clean and beds were comfortable! The wifi was acting up when we were there and we kept getting disconnected. I'm not sure if this is something that happens all the time, or...

This hotel provides a few rooms, but those arre spacious, renovated and clean. The bathroom is very big. The staftt is very friendly and helpful. The brekafast is good, even not too creative. Below is an Irish pub...but still quiet in the rooms. Only like 2-3 minutes walk to the historic ld town.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night. We were a family of 5 in an apartment (one extra bed added). The apartments are fairly large for an apartment hotel. Have the basic amenities necessary. They are simple, but were clean and in good condition. One disadvantage is that the apartments are on the top floor (3rd) and there is...

We stayed here early August for five nights. The room we had was very large, clean and quiet. We were apprehensive at first as we were in the room above the Irish bar but we needn't have worried. There was no noise whatsoever from the pub below us even though it was busy every night, although having said that, we...

This hotel is only a short walk from the station and is easy to find. The rooms are fresh and very clean and the beds are really comfortable. Hairdryers, towels and toiletries are provided and there was a little bag of Haribo left on each bed for us. The beds were really comfy and we slept well. Wifi was easy...

We stayed at the Scheffelhof when in Konstanz for the Rock Am See Festival in August 2012. We were on a tight budget and everywhere else was sold out but it was perfectly adequate being very close to the town centre, friendly staff, an adequate breakfast and most of all a very comfy bed after a long day at the...

“Parking is not always easy. There are parking structures not far. Street parking may be limited in time. Nights are OK until 9 am. I was told that the parking fine is less than the cost of parking in the organized parking lots (for a day). There is an all you can eat restaurant (mainly pasta and pizza, some mexican food) at the end of the street from the hotel. The pizza there was very good. Pasta - no so good. Mexican quesadias were nice.”
