Detailed Reviews
first time to stay at ibis styles düsseldorf neuss and right at check-in i notice that it's not an authentic ibis styles. they couldn't find my reservation and had to look in another computer for it which i made through accor.com as usual. after they found my reservation, then they had to enter all my info to the other computer and finally gave my key. the room was quite small and it has no AC which was very bad. bathroom also small and old compared to the room which looked newer. breakfast was OK, quite good, can't complain. also the welcome drink voucher and key (it was a key not card) was different from other ibis styles, sure it was a old hotel converted to ibis styles like a francies.didn't enjoy that much especially due to no AC but location was good for my meetings.

Fantastic hotel with excellent staff. Beds comfy, plenty choice at continental breakfast. Well looked after as we sat and had a few beers before we all went out. Prices reasonable.
Stayed 13th - 24th for euros. Ideal 709 tram into busy old town in Düsseldorf but only a few mins walk into quieter Neuss.
Only downside was lift not working and there didn’t seem to be much activity on the “fixing” it during our stay. Staying 411 so bit of a struggle with case 😆
Maybe a toaster at breakfast?
But all in all a great stay.

I spent two days there because I attended a full-day seminar in the office building next door on Saturday. The price/performance ratio including breakfast was OK, but not very personal. Unfortunately, you could only pay with a credit card if you knew the PIN and not with my Visa card and the Consorsbank app. For a large corporation, they could be more modern.

Got downgraded without even notifying me about it. Ridiculous room with a single small bed, while I booked a standard double. When complaining about it the receptionist started swearing in front of me. No excuses were made, no standard double room was offered and also no compensation was offered.

The hotel is perfectly fine. Friendly reception; small room but with everything you need. The breakfast was very good value for money. However, the noise from the Telekom data center opposite was very disturbing the whole time. Sleeping without earplugs was impossible because the window had to be left open due to the lack of air conditioning.

+1
Fortunately we've stayed only for one night: it's simply an old hotel bunker in desperate need of a major renovation: not just a few buckets of flashy colours that were not even used properly in this case. Mini-sink in the bathroom equipped with a totally outdated electric radiant heater. Not really clean and fungus-free shower cabin: simply worn out.... Carpeting showed stress marks, also some parts of the walls.
Room has been clairaudient: if you don't sleep like a stone even careful guests will wake you up clapping doors. Bed and mattress has been okay.
The elevator doesn't look trustworthy: old and rickety and a sign (see photo) that says: "unfortunately this elevator might not always drive directly to the second floor....." and sometimes it needs a second attempt to close the doors: great!
After that I've preferred using the stairs.....
Staff wasn't unfriendly but to me they made the impression with their sentences rather to be a robot, than part of a team that want to feel us at home: special one male guy has been very spooky in this. My eyes searched for a slot labelled "insert cards or coins" :-o
Breakfastroom looks like a daycare facility for children having too less seats when there is a rush. Breakfast has been very minimalistic.... not odd but a lot of low cost hotels do offer better quality nowadays.
To sum it up: this hotel in the industrial area directly to Dusseldorf is simply a rip-off!! It's mainly frequented by business people, as there are little alternatives in this area and Dusseldorf is generally highly priced.
Nonetheless: when I'll be in this area again, I'll look for an alternative.
Definitly NOT recommended by me!

This is not at all the same category as some other Ibis Styles I have stayed at before should be more a budget one and lower according prices Looks like an old Ibis - and not even a modern one - in which they put some bright colours on the wall and now call it an Ibis Styles. Room very undescript. Bad and somber lights. Badroom sink is tiny, more like a toilet sink. Very old heating lamp that looks rusty and better be removed. Beds not particularly comfy. Breakfast buffet was pretty minimalistic in comparisson with other Ibis Styles that I stayed in. For me this needsto be a category lower and accordingly lower prices.

Two nights spent at this hotel. Got two adjoint rooms for our family of 4. Breakfast was simpel but fulfilling. The location is walk distant to the tram/bus stop to reach Dusseldorf. Only one thing that gives min point is that the hotel rooms and hall are really noisy. You can practically hear people next or outside the room.

We've stayed here for the easter holiday and I have to say I was very impressed by the quality of the hotel, unlike my other horrible experiences at Ibis (nearly nightmares).
The hotel cleanliness is great, good choice of breakfast, the room itself is an average Ibis hotel, no furniture, all made of one piece of wood, horrible yellow lighting and tiny (but fairly clean toilet) bring your own toiletries because nothing is given, you only get shower gel and towels.
The downsides of this hotel along with the Ibis hotels is that rooms have absolutely no ventilation, if you open the window is too noisy because there is a motorway in front of the hotel, also this hotel is not in the centre of Neuss, so you have to either walk a lot of take a taxi.

I stayed here for just one night but enjoyed my visit.
The hotel is located in a quiet business neighbourhood away from any hustle and bustle. I'd suggest you stay there only if you have access to a car because there's limited activity in the area. Dusseldorf town centre is 10 minutes away by car. If you're using public transport then there is a reliable bus link just around the corner or if you walk well you can stroll to the nearest tram link which is about a mile away.
The staff where very helpful and I heard English, German, French and Italian being spoken by desk staff.
The rooms are just as bright. Small but functional and very clean. They do have a problem with the window blinds which barely cover the window and allow lots of light in plus the privacy concerns. It's minor but worthy of a mention.
The bed was very comfortable. The show room supplied with endless hot water at a good pressure.
The TV offered local TV and international broadcast in English. I did check for movies etc. This is more of a place to close your eyes and sleep and to this end the hotel is very good.
The breakfast was excellent and despite the decor we found ourselves to be very comfortable and satisfied with the quality of the food. Its cold cuts of hams, cheese, yoghurts, cereals, rolls, toast and fruit. Very fresh and very good.
In summary its clean, quiet, minimalist, modern and functional.
