The Aishi Machame Hotel was a great accommodation to stay prior to the start of our Kilimanjaro trek. They had clean and comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast buffet (included in hotel stay) with beautiful rain forest views and lots of variety in the food options. We were looking forward to getting back to the comfort of our hotel room and shower after our Kilimanjaro trek. Dinner was delicious and affordable as well. They did a great job of organizing our Kilimanjaro Trek and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Usually, I don't leave reviews or feedback, but this hotel impressed me with the high quality of service at a reasonable price! The staff was friendly and very nice. They answered all my questions and helped me with every request. The room was cozy and clean. I had a good rest. This is an excellent option for those who'd like to spend time in comfort but don't want to overpay for necessary services. Also, I'd like to highlight the delicious breakfasts. The food quality and taste were excellent! I liked it very much.

We stayed at Aishi before and after our Kili climb. It was absolutely fantastic time. The staff is so nice, accommodating, and always smiling. The hotel is surrounded by a tropical forest, so we've seen a lot of monkeys and birds. It's a quiet place, where you can relax near the pool after an exhausting adventure on the mountain. Hope to be back there one day :)

Great value for money - quiet place with nice friendly staff and a solid good restaurant. The room was neat and tidy, with a fan and a mosquito net. My stay was quite long, so I arranged a couple of day-trips at the reception desk - went smoothly.

SLOW food service and a mosquito net for a single bed over a double bed (my rating = 0), means I can’t recommend this lovely place (garden setting). It’s clean, staff is friendly. But we couldn’t get under or stay under the mosquito net, and the prix fixe lunch (our only choice) took over 2 hours to arrive. (WHY? There were only a few items to choose from and most items were cold.)

Aishi Machame is always a perfect choice for both a vacation and a business trip to Tanzania alike. I am often staying there on my visits. Not only is it located in a green, tranquil neighbourhood, but also here one will always find everything for a good rest: nice staff, good restaurant and swimming pool. Also, in the morning one may see monkeys from the restaurant terrace. I have been to many places in Moshi and Kilimanjaro at large, and Aishi certainly has one of the best internet providers. It is reliable and reasonably fast. Kudos to the people of Aishi - the staff here is always smiling, friendly and helpful. I will certainly stop by Aishi on my next adventure in Tanzania!

Some mates from my climbing group said Aishi would be perfect if it were closer to city life, at least to have a look around the market or souvenir shops. It might be an important point for someone, but to me Aishi was perfect from beginning to end. I took a couple of extra days on top of those included in the climbing package, and it felt like I went on some sort of a tropical retreat. The place was a great emotional rest after the pre-holiday hustle at work, and at a very reasonable price (compared to what was on sale in Moshi and Arusha at the time). Absolutely loved my time here, will keep it in my memory for years to come.

We were staying at Aishi Machame as part of our Kilimanjaro climbing package this March. Plain and simple as a hotel, it's a really special place all immersed in greenery, with a beautiful tropical garden and all kinds of wild animals coming over. We really loved exploring the place. In all other respects, it was a great stay!

We spent two nights here prior to our Kilimanjaro climb and one night after. It was the perfect place to bookend a Kili climb. The property is lovely -- the pool is a great spot to relax pre and post climb (watching the monkeys play in the trees never gets old!), the restaurant has hearty meals, and the bar can be very creative with their drinks (my favorite involved cocktails with fresh squeezed juices!). There is also a nice nature pond and a trail down to the river. We found all the staff - from front desk to restaurant to grounds staff - to be super friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The shower has good water pressure and hot water -- and feels fantastic after 6 days of camping on the mountain. If you are climbing with Altezza (which we highly recommend!) their offices are on site which makes the pre-climb prep process super easy. The hotel/Altezza will securely store your bags while you climb as well. And since this property is a typical pre/post-climb location... you can meet lots of other climbers in the restaurant/lounge/bar/pool area to trade stories with. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
