While planning my trip to Dharamshala, I was searching for a peaceful place to stay which should offer us great hospitality and Yumm Food and I think the Team at The Atman has made this experience an amazing one. It all starts at the entrance where you are greeted with a Big Smile and a healthy welcome.
The check in process was seamless and stress free for us. The staff is well trained on all aspects of Hospitality which is expected out of them.
I happened to meet the Gardener passing by in the late hours, even then he greeted us with folded hands before answering what I was inquiring.
The facility is new and fresh and all the colours shown on their website and social media handles are actually what you will see there.
The Food (as shown in the pics attached) was really tasty and was worth coming back for. The Chef has a good control over the flavours and does his job really well.
Being a new hotel, breakfast was mainly Al la Carte but still it was pretty tasty. The team never hesitates to keep seeking feedback about your stay and the food and we’re kind enough to suggest a few places to explore.
The property is towards Village Khanyara and is a better location than other options we see online.
We had thought of taking a booking in Naddi and after visiting that place, i feel that we made the right choice as this place is just 6 Kms from the main mcleodganj market which is about 15-20 Mins drive and was a good change for us.
Parking is not a problem with them and the rooms are huge in size.
I suggest you guys to try this out and I am sure you will hopefully end up giving a similar review.
And I must tell you that this is not a paid review but sharing my observations as a traveller who had visited along with the family. You can check out our video testimonials on the official FB page of the property as well.
And yes there two main spots nearby the property which are unexplored. One of them is called TORAL Cafe which I highly recommend as it is a place just in lap of nature. It’s a drive followed by a 150 Meter trekking.

when we landed here it was superb ,location is amazing with one side valley and other side a great view of snow capture mountains. Stunning!! Starting from smooth check in to check out it was an amazing stay. Staff were courteous,helpfull and quick ,The chef prepared finger linking food ,we have ordered so many things during our 3days stay and we were delighted to have their food. Our room 204 was very spacious with a great view of the snow mountain and valley ,the room was equipped with all necessary equipment except sleeper and iron with iron board which was again available on call. Their GM Mr Anil was a nice and very professional guy who always took one step ahead to make their guest happy and comfortable all the time. we have asked many things to do for which hotel has agreed with a smile on their faces. I would also like to thank all their staffs starting from front office/Restaurants/house keeping ,they all were superb.
I would highly recommended everyone to stay at least once in the property, I am looking forward to stay again in the property when it will open their pool and kids playing area which is under construction.

We have stayed in atman resort from 19th feb to 21st feb. we have booked a standard room but rather we got an free upgrade to premium suite free of cost from the hotel itself. The food was really good and the ambience was great for a perfect calm and peaceful stay. Not to miss, the view from the hotel was nature obsessed. We were so happy with our choice of resort we picked in Dharamshala as it’s not far away and not inside the city. The location gives majestic view of hills and the interiors gives you European feels. Every room is tastefully crafted and the food adds to the overall worth. The food is tempting and the management is very humble and kind to speak with .

The best resort of Dharmashala with antique surround Resort is well maintained , rooms are unique that you won’t find in any other resort that has antique setup , comfort & the best mountain view . We were on a road trip from Pune to Srinagar via Himachal and Ladakh when we had the good fortune of staying two nights at Ātman. We felt the warmth of the staff as soon as we reached here. The place is regally done up, has a royal yet rustic feel to it. I cannot emphasise enough on how it was spotlessly clean(which is most crucial!) and the room we were upgraded to was lovely, spacious and beautifully decorated. The best part was the gorgeous valley view that you wake up to. The food was delicious too! We were also most pleasantly surprised when we saw that our car was washed when we had to leave in the morning! These kind gestures stay with you for a long time. General manager Mr. Anil and the other staff are helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We are very grateful we got to spend this time here and feel truly rejuvenated! Would recommend staying here one hundred percent. We hope to visit again!

I stayed at this hotel for celebrating our Anniversary. We booked this property at a great deal given by Mr. Arvind and our special requests of cake and room decorations were take care by him. The room which we booked was also a nice room however we requested for different view which was honored and we were upgraded to Suite room with spectacular valley and mountain view from huge balcony. In the evening we booked a candle-light dinner with a special menu chosen by me. Food was awesome and the service boys were on their toes to fulfill all requirements

This hotel was booked for a new year vacation, and to our shock, this was an isolated property with ZERO guest, skeleton staff, when we entered room, staff gave 4 bottles of water and asked if you need anything, please ask now as we all are going from hotel after locking the property... Can you imagine? We paid 21k for 2 nights and booked this from mmt and here you are stuck in middle of nowhere, it took some time for that feeling to sunk in, when we came out to reception there was no one to attend us, main gate was locked, had to jump out of gate to come out of property and went o hyatt and paid 20k for the night stay, on top of it hotel has the audacity to refuse refund. Well, i wont stop till i make enough ppl aware regarding this pathetic hotel.

A porshe cozy resort accommodation set at the foothills of snow clad 'Dhauladhars'. Central location with easy access to most of the tourist places of Dharmshala and Mcleodganj and a pleasant weather. Rooms are very spacious and adorne authentic handcrafted art on furniture giving a royal outlook to the room, balconies providing a view of the valley and sunset on west and the snow clad Dhauladhar range on the east. The dishes are cooked in most healthy way simmered with love and an utmost balance of flavours and spices. A library replete with biopics and philosophical literature and recreational games such as the huge chess board in the lobby promise to keep you busy in the best of ways. Last but not the least the warm hospitality of the staff, the manager and royal ambience of this place lingers on in your heart. A marvelous experience at a very reasonable price.
