The only reason I stayed here was the tour to Fraser, which was the best experience in Australie for me. The people were great and driving with a 4wd on the beach is just amazing. The only thing that was not that good, was that you have to make your own food, and the missing showers. The hostel is not...

Firstly we booked this trip with indie travel in Byron bay, and walked out thinking what have we just been conned into? Got told that all other trips don't have everything covered and insurance etc etc. Got told it was basically glamping and you just put in $10 for food and everything else is included. Baring in mind this trip...

Frazer Island was an amazing trip. Best camping I've done in Australia. But the thing that really made it was the tour guide Chris. He had incredible knowledge and was genuinely interesting. It shocked us how in depth his knowledge was and his honest approach to the history of Frazer Island was refreshing. Also his personal interest in individual campers...

Don't let the travel agents talk you into this package. I presume they are owned my Greyhound as it was obvious this was the only Frazer Island tour they can sell. We heard a whole load of rubbish from our rep Dom (Cairns) that Palace are the only company allowed to camp on the Island...well I don't know where Dom...

The tour might be expensive but it's absolutely worth the money! You get so see a lot of different things which would be impossible without a tour guide like for example the amazing Chris. He knows basically everything about the Island, the animals and the Natives and you can ask him anything you want. He's also very chilled, and you...

Booked this Fraser Island tour with Greyhound wicked travel in Brisbane. We were first told everything is included and we get 2 nights for free in the hostel in Hervey Bay so we could also leave our luggage there. We turn up and find out we have to pay to keep our luggage in the hostel during our Fraser Island...

Did the Fraser Island 4wd Tour here. What an amazing place to be. The tour guide i had and other ones i came across were a bit weird, but you definetly see as much as possible. There were alot of drinking games in the evening, which the guide had a lot of fun with, pushing people to drink more. That...

Hostel - AMAZING Cars - AMAZING Tour guide - AMAZING Ferry - AMAZING (SAW WHALES!) A lot of tours go from Rainbow beach - everyone we met had a nightmare due to the tides restricting the cars being able to drive up the beach as from Rainbow beach you enter to the south of the Island quite a long way...

We arrived late and saw they had rooms online. Could park outside. We were given a 10bed dorm but only 4 of us had it to ourselves with ensuite. The bathroom was clean with a hot shower. Kitchen facilities awesome, loads of plates pans etc! Air con in room! In the morning the staff couldn't have been more helpful with...

Great place to stay, we had a fantastic time. Really handy, the greyhound bus dropped off and picked us up directly across the road from hostel, with beach directly across from hostel as well. Everything was nice and clean! Staff was friendly and organized. Had a briefing with the guide, so we knew exactly what to take on the island...
