The newly built Hotel Express by Holiday Inn Udine North is located in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, 90 km from Austria and 40 km from Slovenia. Close to the highway exit Udine North, the hotel is located near the futuristic building of the Hypo Group Bank, designed by Thom Mayne, and to the commercial area where many important companies (Moroso, Interna, Snaidero, Fadalti, Fantoni, Edilfriuli, Freud, Pilosio), shops and malls are located. The free shuttle is on request available to guests for transfers from and to the train station and city centre, where visitors can walk in Piazza della Libertà , visit the elegant Loggia del Lionello and take a break in Piazza delle Erbe, a square full of coffee-houses and little wine bars where visitors can taste some of the most famous wines of Friuli. In the 120 bedrooms of the Hotel Express by Holiday Inn Udine North, all with flat screen and Internet access, clients can personalize their comfort thanks to the pillow menu and enjoy a splendid view of the Carnia Alps. We had a great stay at the Meditur hotel. It is situated out of the way, but the area is very quiet. There is plenty of parking outside the hotel, though they also have an underground parking area; one can take an elevator down to that level. We were travelling with our daughter, and they had all the beds prepared and correct number of towels in the bathroom. The room was very clean and capacious, with enough space for all three of us and the luggage. The beds were comfortable, as well as the sheets and pillows. The bathroom was large with a toilet, bidet, enclosed shower and toiletries. The breakfast, included with the room rate, was very good; lots of cold cuts, good selection of fruits and breads. The staff was very friendly and helpful, in the dining area and at the front desk. A wonderful stay!

Location is perfect for overnight stay on the way from South Italy to the Eastern Europe. Rooms are quite large. Breakfast is normal. Very good parking. The only thing to mention as a drawback is quite poor rooms equipment: no fridge / minibar, no safe, no kettle.

Udine, nice town in the region of Friuil, Italy. The San Giacomo Piazza is at the center and Piazza della Liberta is nearby along with Loggia di San Giovanni, clock tower. You can get good local pizza in various small pizzeria Mediture Hotel is towards North of Udine. The hotel room were clean and spacious and beds were comfortable. Morning Breakfast had good selection of cereals, breads and fruits.

It was just a quick stay , but I'm sure a few days more couldn't possibly change the excellent impression. I checked the price twice - after touring Italy and France for four weeks it seemed unreal, and I was sceptical, but I can promise you the hotel will be included in our future itineraries. Location was very good, rooms pristine clean, comfortable and spatious, breakfast excellent and the staff absolutely amazing. We booked on a very short notice, but Ms Ginna Giora not only handled the process smoothly, but also made our stay very pleasant and memorable.

A very nice, clean, and modern hotel. The room is spacious, with a generous bathroom and complimentary products. There was also an interesting blue light in the bathroom, which wasn’t as harsh as a bright light one. Great breakfast, nice little bar...very enjoyable.

This hotel is great for one night stay, it is close to highway and it got big parking lot. For room simple furnished but the bad is just disaster, the matress is so soft that you can sleep on that. Also in room will be better if it got small safe.

The position of this hotel is ideal for stopovers during long journeys to/from Italy as it is very close to the motorway and far from the city traffic. Regarding the hotel itself, it´s rather simple with basic rooms (without minibar), but reasonably sized and perfectly clean and maintained. I was also positively surprised by the quality of the breakfast where you have a very good choice of both sweet and salty possibilities (ufnfortunately without hot dishes). The parking is comfy with many places, the staff is quite professional.

I decided on this hotel based on tge great reviews... welll, we were charged extra because our kid stayed with us in the room in shared bed. Would be okay if the night staff would not say before it was okay. The day staff stated I have to pay because it is a business hotel and they charge for the kids (WTF???), and for security reasons 😵. It was obvious it was a simple ripoff. Very disappointing. Hotel is average, shower cabin moldy. Would not come back.

Brilliant hotel , friendly , obliging staff , breakfast was fantastic a great set up for the day. We had an accessible room which was spot on , easy to get around in . Our room was spacious and extremely clean , fresh towels daily. Definitely a place to stay in this area

I stayed at Meditour Udine a few times now and had a really good experience each time. The hotel is nice and modern, breakfast is really good, they make a great cappuccino, if you ask for it!:) The staff is wonderful, very friendly and always able to help. I will definitely stay again and will recommend it to people I know.
