We stayed in an apartment for four nights with our daughter and her husband. While it was very difficult to find, even with a gps, we had a wonderful time there. Our apartment had two similar bedrooms with queen-size beds, a kitchenette with dining area/sofa, and one bathroom. Unlike other reviewers, we had no trouble getting extra toilet paper. We...

Stayed here May 2011. Booked a hotel room vs the apartment/residence building and that is the way to go it seems from reading other advisors entries. We did have maid service, plenty of towels, etc. The room was very large with a huge bed (extremely firm) and a nice bathroom. We had a private terrace overlooking the pool. The views...

I went to Tuscany last week with my husband and my family. There were 6 of us all together. This place was amazing! The pictures on the website do not do it justice. Everything was beautiful and clean. The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was even fantastic. We were able to journey to some...

Though the setting is spectacular and pure Tuscany, everything else was average at best. We stayed four nights and had only one set of towels and bathmat supplied for four women. Also, we had only three rolls of toilet paper suppled. We went to the village grocery and bought a 4 pack. The restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced.Though...

Four of us stayed at the Fattoria and enjoyed the grounds, the lovely sunsets, a couple of meals in the restaurant and a drive through the neighboring villages, and hills. The second room in the suite was a little small, in fact too small for two couples. I would recommend two separate rooms. The small villages around the Fattoria are...

Pros--large, clean, comfortable apartment with kitchenette and dining area; nice grounds, including two pools; good restaurant; polite staff. Cons--25 minute drive from the main road; if visiting southern Tuscany, plan 2 hours travel each way; Florence, 1 hour each way. No maid service, including no trash pickup, no change of towels or linens, and no refill of TP (ask at...

What a gorgeous place to stay. We were there as they were getting ready for the busy season, and would love to go back and see what it looks like with all the flower pots in bloom. This is a wonderful facility. We had a one-bedroom apartment above the restaurant. We spent three of our evenings on our balcony enjoying...

This is a quaint country inn- don't expect plush 5 star accommodations. We traveled with another couple and ended up getting two rooms instead of sharing a two bedroom suite. Just not enough room for four people. They were gracious in changing our rooms even though we had reserved only one. We enjoyed the restaurant and absolutely loved our afternoon...

First, let me say that we got a great deal on this trip. I was traveling with my boyfriend and two close friends, the three of which had never been to Italy before. I had traveled there a bit myself so I knew what to expect from hotel rooms/bathrooms/service/etc. I will say that we were satisfied with our trip, but...

Four of us arrived on a Friday afternoon after what was supposed to be a one hour drive from the airport in Florence. I used the directions supplied from a review that said they were "a must." First of all I have to say if you are staying at this hotel definately get a GPS. Then email the hotel and...
