Another great stay! thanks Mary and Hamish. This time I got to enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool - perfect on a hot Hawkes Bay day. Then relaxed by the pool, watching the sun set with a refreshing drink and yummy dinner. And the next morning yet another delicious and varied breakfast after a deep nights sleep. Can't wait...

We loved this home and the experience we had staying there for 13 nights January 2017. Suituated within an easy bike ride of several fabulous vineyards (te awa estate and Abbey cellars were really child friendly) and within 15 minutes drive of Haveolock North and hastings - it couldnt be better situated. We had a lovely three day stay with Hamish and Mary at The Vines. We were made very welcome in their beautiful home and felt we had made good friends. Very high standard of room and the breakfasts were the best we have ever had, nothing was too much trouble for Mary. Thank you so much, we will be back...

We booked this place to take some of our clients the restaurant was a hit with everyone Top service and the food was fantastic The best bit was the Xmas trifle the duck was also delicious Plenty of space with a good big table and great wine selection Couldn't help but think with sun out and the four poster umbrella...

Really nice place to stay - comfortably fit 8 of us and had everything we needed to cater for our big group. Great BBQ and kitchen. Mary was very kind and helpful with a lot of suggestions of things to do and places to eat. She even cooked a really nice Thai fish curry for us! Can't be beaten for...

We booked out the cottage with Mary, slept 9, Super King room, Queen room, 4 King Single in end room and a hallway bed. Across the road to Seleni winerery so grand and beautiful (easy start biking) Trinity Hill, Abbey Cellars, Te Awa, Alpha Domus, Fat Monk. Cottage is indoor outdoor flow, great beds and very clean. Loved you all staying and enjoying the swimming and tennis court .Yes and we do have a great pic of wineries.You do not even need to get in your car that was the bonus for you all watching the kids play in the vines and try to catch rabbits.Looking forward to having you all again.

A memorable experience! Beautiful surroundings, superior accommodation, exceptional food, incomparable hospitality. Mary and Hamish are arguably the best hosts I have ever encountered. Unique and Superb! Truly special and highly recommended.

We stayed there with the family and felt really at home. Every day Mary surprised us with great meals - she cooked special Kids menus too. We all enjoyed the amazing garden,the fantastic view in the vineries and the nice pool ,the rest and relaxation... We had our own separated area in the house- which is wonderful designed -a cozy...

My husband and I have stayed at The Vines once a month for the last 7 months when we come to Hastings on business, and have booked ahead for the next few months. I felt welcome from the first moment when Mary pick me up from the airport. The house, the gardens, the pool, the tennis court... it is a place to just calm down and forget about the everyday hectic of the "city life". Mary and Hamish are excellent hosts, they showed me the region, the lovely nature and the endless views...
