Good points - Can't fault the food, cakes, breakfast and unlimited wine! The staff (Edwina, Ollie and Adam) were very friendly and laid back. The lounge is quite comfortable (the settees were a little worn) and had enough seating for everyone. Our room (No. 3) was adequate and had a lovely view - we had quite a decent sleep. Great... We stayed in Chalet Phoenix March 16 there was 14 of us and another party totalling over 23 people in total. The Chalet was catered with 3 staff, Edwina, Jay and Adam they were very polite, helpful and kind. Edwina makes epic cakes! She made separate cakes for myself and another guest with food allergies. Adam also adapted his meals... More

We have been skiing for many years and stayed in all types of accommodation . This was a special trip with our grown up children . The chalet is comfortable and clean . The lighting needs attention as the chalet is very dark in the evenings. The food is excellent and well presented . The chalet staff are experienced, professional... More

Our group was greeted by the friendly staff who helped us with our cases for the short walk from the bus stop to the accommodation. The rooms were clean and the whole chalet had clearly been maintained to a high standard. The ski hire was available from a shop that was directly opposite the chalet. The ski in, ski out... More

A bunch of happy skiers arrived with great expectations, after a long journey we were greated by the staff enthusiasticly, lovely, We waited for about 30 minutes to get to our floor as there was only one tiny lift working, bit of a pain but these things happen. This is more of an apartement, within a large chalet. The rooms... More

We paid a lot. The ski passes didn’t work in the morning. We complained and was told (in an email) that we were “lying” that this prevented us from skiing for 2 hours and that this wasn't their problem - they passed the buck. We also complained about the state of the chalet and food and again was fobbed off.... More

This is NOT a chalet, pictures in the brochures are of a completely different building! The spa is in a buiding next door ...again misleading though there is a working sauna. In reality, this is a set of rooms within one very large apartment building. You go in at level 5, get the single working lift to level 0 &... More

Right from the off our holiday at Chalet Phoenix was a roaring success. We arrived early to the chalet but despite this the chalet staff, Lauren and Heleln, helped us with our luggage, showed us to our room and were ready and willing to answer any questions and point us in the right direction and offer refreshments. The room and... More

We have literally just returned this afternoon from staying at the Phoenix chalet and are so impressed that we wanted to leave an immediate review. This was by far the best chalet I have ever stayed in, in Europe. The staff were extremely welcoming and made me feel at home instantly. I am a very fussy eater and the chef... More
