We booked and paid in advance for a 5night stay in April, end of Season - Spring Snow. The hotel was very quiet, lovely and relaxing for us away on a break without the kids! The spa was again very relaxing with robes and slippers provided in your room. The bedrooms are a little small, the wall is less than...

the room was lovely. but it was quite small. its perfect for people who wants to eat outside all the time. i wish there were more facilities like a small kitchen. even only a small table with dishes and hot water/ coffee etc.

The room is slightly small for a family of 4. The balcony is shared with other rooms so you can't really put your stuff outside but there is lockers for ski gears in the basement. This is truly ski-in ski-out hotel. The deck is great for people watching and enjoying the sun. Wonderful breakfast which was our highlight of the...

The location of this 4* hotel in Val Thorens is probably the best for ski on/off and downtown-life seekers. And the price makes it a more affordable alternative for quality hotels to the 5*-hotels. Nice swimming pool and spa, nice bar area ; still, could do better on the food/terrace and the lift system. Dinner at La Fondue delivered in...

We stayed 4 nights at the Val Thorens with our 3 year old son. First the location of the hotel can't be better : right in front of the slopes. You just need to get down in the ski room put your skis (that you can rent directly inside the hotel) and slide. The room are large (our son had...

Stopped here for lunch on our last day of skiing. My initial impression was that it was quite pricey but that is to be expected given it's premium location. Ordered one of the beef dishes, and I was blown away with how delicious it was. I was so impressed with the food that, for possibly the first time in my...

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights last week. Excellent location and perfect for skiing. The staff was helpful and friendly. Alberto was a star! Food was OK but service a bit slow in the dining room at times. Our slope-side room was noisy most of the night, as expected. But with the window closed the noise was gone....

Nice hotel, a bit worn though. Lots of corridors and steps, only one elevator. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Reasonable half-board meals, swift service. Be aware of rooms looking to the village; they are very noisy because of intoxicated dwellers, singing and shouting all night long.
