On arrival the miserable looking female receptionist didn't set me on fire but the young gent was very welcoming, friendly and informative. On opening the door to our apartment I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment and pleased that our family of 3 adults and 2 children wouldn't be on top of each other. Whilst the Residence...

We stayed in chalet 3 and we had a very good experience. The 2-bedroom apartment was big enough for 5 people. Two bathrooms. Big living room with well equipped kitchen. We had a big balcony oriented south-west and it was sunny from 2pm until dawn. The view was very nice and peaceful. A little Sherpa shop sells all you need....

It is not a hotel to start with but it has the option to go for B&B, HB or even FB (I believe). Standard place to stay, not luxury, but also not too old. All is present, people are helpful and correct. For us a bit of a hassle as there was not enough snow anymore to ski from the...

We stayed in Chalet Balcons with Crystal Ski. We promised 4 rooms en-suite, but only got 2. The rooms are tiny with no TV or hairdryers. Not all the lights and sockets worked - would not be difficult to put this right. The towels were changed once, but the rooms were never cleaned or the waste bins emptied. The only...

We stayed in Chalet Balcons 2 with Crystal and it could not have been worse. It was old, dirty and the food was inedible. There was mould on the fruit which stayed there all week, the bread was out of date by 2 weeks and the rooms were unclean. In addition our overflowing bins were never emptied. The host was...

We stayed here for a week in a catered chalet in number 2 Balcons the topmost one with Crystal. Great views and easy access to slopes, ski in almost and out just down from the lift. All accommodation is fine, there where 4 other couples sharing who we soon got to know, makes a change from a single room. Food...

The title is the perfect summary. Very old and massive complex. Besides, bad cleaning and extremely noisy. Every step in the complex you hear. Quite close to the slopes, but not very convenient as still some walking and climbing involved. Don't go here if you want to have a nice week

Great ski In ski out facilities and access to the spa, really the icing on the cake. Location good near shops bars and restaurants, and only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. Residence Les Balcons is divided into hotel rooms, self-catering and catered chalets. We stayed in a catered chalet with Crystal Ski in Les Balcons 5 chalet 3 - whilst the decor is dated, the rooms are small but very clean and well presented - the food cooked by our chalet hosts Callum, Rosie and Izzy was nicely presented and our...

Very cold swimming pool. Nice jazuzzi. Unfortuntatly you cannot ski directly to the skiclass in the morning and back directly to the hotel. Especially for little kids this is inconvenient. Long ques elevator. Dirty appartment. Not a 4 star experience.
