The hotel vanoise is certainly not a swanky st Moritz palace of gold and chrome! It is a genuine, family run, slope side 2* hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was basic and excellent. Even little details like - staff suggesting to take your skis through the bar as the exit there is better... More

Perfect location by the slopes, comfortable room, super nice management, and excellent food. The worker at the bar, reception, restaurant are all very nice and helpful. The quality-price ratio is very good.

My son and I stayed here in March 2015. We felt very welcomed as soon as we arrived. Ask any question regarding the area and where to eat and they will give you very good advise. Food is very good, You can purchase a bottle of wine for your meal and they will keep it for for next time. The... More

I stayed here the night before starting a 1 week trip in the alps and everything was great. The hotel was wonderful and the staff was super nice. I stayed the night of the Eurocup final of France v Portugal and I watched the game in the downstairs bar and it was so much fun. When I came back after... More

This was my first visit to Tignes and the hotel, travelling with my 13 year old son over the half term break. Travelling We travelled with Inghams but were told upon arrival that the hotel no longer dealt with Inghams and we were the last guests to be admitted which might have explained why we never saw our 'Rep' the... We visited the first week in December and the last week of 'pre-season'. Hotel was easy to find and literally next to one of the chairlifts which our balcony overlooked. Paul on reception was lovely and helped us with ski passes - we saved a fortune booking through the hotel compared to the online quote. Rooms were cosy and typical... More

The hotel is directly opposite the Tufs ski lift, so perfect for our ski trip. A true ski in/ski out loction. The rooms are very pretty, warm and comfortable, with plenty of hanging and cupboard space. The superior rooms have a rather lovely deep bath, again, perfect for a ski trip. The food is fabulous. The evening meal is a... More

We arrived at the hotel mid-afternoon and received a warm welcome from the staff. We were promptly shown to our room (Room 18 on the top floor - floor 3). There is a lift to all floors which made transporting the luggage effortless. The room comprised: entrance with toilet to the left, coat and boot space to the right, bathroom... More
